How was your weekend??? I'm wondering where mine went. I think I missed it. Below are the Thanksgiving cards I made for the Thanksgiving card swap. You can't see, I added glitter to the leaves and the turkey's tail. I'm into glitter at the moment :)Saturday this white squirrel was in our tree. Isn't it so very cute. A couple of years ago we had one living in the area. Maybe this is one of it's babies. It is a small one. I hope the neighbor guy doesn't trap this one. He sets up traps in his yard which is behind ours and traps them...

I picked up new toys for the BOYS and look what they did....and it only took minutes to do the damage...and guess who has to clean up after them??!!

Tug of War and the toy was the loser...

On Saturday I worked a 4 hour shift at How Quiant. It's part of the contract when you rent space at the store. It was interesting to see what people buy and the pictures below are of my space. Next month we are to decorate for Christmas. So...I MUST go out and find more items to sell:)

No one bought the turkey platter and I was asking only $9.00 for I thought.

Saturday after my shift we went to a House warming open house and then to a Halloween party and costumes required. My husband has great ideas...he went as a "bobber" know for fishing and I went along as the fishing woman. He won the best costume prize. A gift certificate to a restaurant. That was nice. The party was very quiet....we just sat around and talked...oh well.
Have you ever been to Miss Rhea's blog? Well, she had a 100Th post giveaway and I entered it and WON!!! She makes very real looking and beautiful faux pastries. That is Awesome and Thank you so Much Rhea. Be sure to check out her blog. She is a lovely Christian and needs some prayers at this time.
Twyla & Lindsey from Two Crazy Crafters gave me the Fall Decor Award and I THANK YOU for thinking my decorating is nice. I'll add the award to my side bar. Such great blogging friends.
On Tuesday morning my husband will have day surgery to remove the plates and pins in his right leg from the motorcycle accident he had May 2007. He is in pain and believes removing the
"Hardware" will eliminate the pain. I pray so. I may not post of a few days. It depends on how he is doing after the surgery. Doctor said recovery 7-14 days. I am fast approaching my 100th post and will have a very quick, 1 day only sign up for a giveaway.
Keep on the look out. It's also a secret one...I just want someone to win it who is a regular blogging friend. So, please don't share the news...let them find "me" on their own...THANKS...Deb

I wish you would have shown pictures of you and your husband dressed up for the party. I would have enjoyed that, wink. Congratulations on winning the give away! Yeah! Have a nice week. I hope your husband recovers quickly! Twyla

Deb, When we summered in Brevard, NC, there where white squirrels there too. And stores with that name too. I was told they originated from Tampa, Fl...there was a train wreck and they escaped form the circus animals on the train. )

I have had two spaces in antique stores and love it,but I tell you everyone seems to want things for nothing and then when you add the rent it just isn't paying. I have boxes stacked up and priced right now. I am just addicted to sales.

Your space looks great! OMGosh, that coffee canister would look great in my kitchen as red and white are my accent colors :0).
Oh no, those silly canines. That is why I do not buy toys anymore. I give my dogs old towels and they can pull and tug to their hearts content. Granted they do rip it up but it lasts a bit longer. Especially the old bath towels.
Those cards are so cute. You're so talented. I wish I could do something like that. Maybe I'll try for Christmas and send out homemade Christmas cards.
Have a great day!

100 it seems like yesterday that you started your blog. It sure doesn't take long. I am nearing my 200th.

I too hope the guy behind you doesn't trap that squirrel I don't think it right that someone be allowed to do that. I wonder what the human society would think of that.

Anywho, congrats on the win. Hope your husband does well and the surgery will resolve the pain issue.

Crazy dogs! Congrats on winning Rhea's giveaway! How exciting!

Hope hubby's surgery helps his pain. My dd's bf wants to get his plate and pins out too because of the pain. I wonder if it will help.

Take care and have a good week (great cards by the way)!!!

Pretty cards Deb!

Lucky you! Rhea's artwork is delightful.

I hope that your hubby is much better. Don't work too hard now.
