A LITTLE HELP FROM MY FRIEND, JEANNE

This is my friend, Jeanne. We have been friends for 37 years give or take. We met at church many years ago. I think I was 16 years old, or around that. She was the Sunday School teacher and I was her helper:) She knows me, and even with all my very rough edges, loves me. She and her husband are my children's God parents. Of course, you all know that my kids are 29 and 27 years old... They have been a example of Christianity for me. I love her and so appreciate all her love, prayers and friendship. God's blessing to me :)
I called Jeanne and said I was stamping on Friday and Saturday and would she like to stamp with me. She said Yes and she would help me too. She came over on Saturday and we went to work. THANK YOU JEANNE FOR HELPING ME. I SO ENJOYED OUR TIME TOGETHER.

These are cards that I had made earlier, along with tags and altered notebooks, cigar boxes and whatever else I could think of.

Are these little "treat bags" cute??!! Guess the photos doesn't show the details as well as it should.

Aren't these little Baby Shoes just darling. This was a team work project that Jeanne and I worked on. I saw this idea and just had to try it. I really LOVE all of them and don't want to sell any of them, but I can call Jeanne and have her come over again and make more.

This mirror was a find at the estate sale that husband and I went to on Friday morning. This is Jackson Brown ,isn't he sweet checking himself out in the mirror. Love the detail on the wood. I think it was a picture frame in it's first life...only $3.00 !!

This cute blue tray is on the wall in the kitchen. I must keep it for awhile :)

2 sets of kitchen towels to sell at either place. Just love these also. Can you see the little PINK potty bowl??? It's on the right side of the photo. It went under the wooden potty chair. In the photo below are more treasures from the estate sale. A little Elf, the baby shoes that were altered, cute little suit case, tin and two vintage table setting cards, NOT used and in great shape.
It was a good weekend. I think I'm done making cards for Friday and Saturday.

My daughter is moving into her new apartment Wed-Sat...and of course, I'm helping in between all the other things that are going on... "That's what Mom's DO"... I probably won't be around much this week...Time will tell. I check up on you gals :) Have a great week and I'll let you know how the craft show went :) Hoping for a SELL OUT :) Warmly, Deb

Deb...everything looks awesome!! What a great friend you have in Jeanne (and vice versa).

You sure are busy, no surprise you won't be around much. I'm still trying to get the rest of the house decorating done. It seems other things take up my time, too much!!!

~Blessings and thanks for the visit!

you are always so busy! I wish I could say I have a friend that has been in my life that long. I have known people that long, but they have all moved away...so we are friends from afar...alas it is just not the same!

Ooooh! Great job, my Friend! You certainly are blessed to have a couple like Jeanne & her husband as role models and friends.

Your cards and everything else look wonderful! If you don't sell out, it certainly won't be because you're lacking quality merchandise! I love your work!

What a fun day. I have a set of towels with the days of the week that my Grandma embroidered. One of my very special treasures.

I hope for a sellout for you as well. I hope you also have fun while you are there.
I love that pick of J.B. adoring himself. I won't let star have a mirror b/c she would turn into even MORE of a picture hog!
(she is sitting on my chair arm kissing me as I type) LOL

Thanks for the comment on my table. I never buy a 'great condition' piece to paint white I buy ones that have had better days. First, it saves me money and second I dont' feel as bad for painting it. If it stays in my front porch it may also stay natural colored, but I don't know yet.
I like to get stuff at sales so I CAN paint it. I can't bring myself to paitn grandma's drum table or hutch, so I am already awash in things I can not paint. LOL

Hiya Deb,

Just LOOK at all that cute loot you guys whipped up! Goodness, I'm so impressed!! I LOVE every bit of it...you've worked hard! How sweet to have shared the task with a friend...it's all the sweeter because of it!

BTW, I can click on most of your photos and see a much enlarged version and see details, etc. Kathy of Kathy's Cottage told me that a picture remains "clickable" so long as you don't move it...quirky Blogger thing I guess. I've tried it on my blog and it works...so long as I don't drag them to a different spot, they can be clicked to see the detail... go figure...

Anyhow, I've missed coming by and chatting - it's good to be back at it - I wish you much success!!

Hugs and Blessings,
Becky S.

Just ran across your blog by browsing other blogs... and I just have to mention that I have a little Elf just like the one you have there in the photo. I actually have 2, one looks exactly like that.. with his arms around his legs and the other I have is in a sitting position. My mom gave the elves to me last Christmas after I begged for them. She had them for years... putting them on our Christmas tree every year.
