WHIP CREAM - YUMMY

This is me, of course you know that, and this photo was taken last year when some fellow stampers/card makers were over. It was time for a "treat". Whip cream out of the can. Of course there was some chocolate to go with it :) The card below was giving to me by fellow stamper for my birthday this year. Who knew that I could have posed for that card. It looks just like me :):), except for the red hair.

Another word with a wonderful meaning

J Jesus
O Only
Y You

The BUSY word keeps floating in my head. So now this is the word I want to think about. JOY, that only Jesus can bring to one's life. Polly, at Count Your Blessing had a post about 1000 Blessings. It touched me and I am now writing down some blessing each day. ( I started late and have forgot a couple of days) Please read her post. If I would have started sooner, I would have written down 1000 Blessing by Christmas. THANK YOU POLLY. :):)

Last night the computer would NOT upload for me....Ugh... So today, one of my Blessing is that the computer accepted my photos.

More, hopefully later. I have other photos to show and more things to say. Image that !!!!

KIM'S CARDS AND BOUGHTEN TREASURES

Hurray, the cards came. Kim form Kim's Treasures and I swapped a couple of cards. The ones she sent me are very pretty. The photo's are terrible. She also sent a framed art work, which is in my bathroom and looks super there., it's black with a butterfly. THANKS KIM!!

Also in the photo are some "gifts" I ordered. They may just stay here with me. The pretty PILLOWS are from Connie at Beautifully. The LILY DISH is from Michele at Country Vintage and the PETIT FOURS are from Catherine at Pink Rose Pastries. SO, GALS, go visit them and see what you can own. There are SO many talented gals in blogland.

Now a little food for thought. FROG can mean Fully Rely On God.
BUSY can mean Burden/Busy Under Satan Yoke. Not liking the word busy anymore. Must think of a new way to put it. So off the get some things done. Take care. Thanks for visiting, and as always, love reading your comments. Warmly, Deb

SERIOUSLY....THIS IS MY CRAFT ROOM--HELP

Really, these are photos of my room :)

I have a huge smile on my face when I see the redo's of your craft rooms. Mine is a total room in the works. The only good thing is the size, and I do have electricity and some shelves. It's fast becoming a junk room. Since we are a year behind in our projects, I'm hoping that maybe this winter I'll have some "Atfer" pics for you. If anyone has some ideas, please share them with me. Too bad you can't send me your old craft rooms through the blog. That would make it SO easy for me. Of course, half the fun is getting ideas, paint sample, etc. I hope no one was hurt when they viewed the photos. LOL. When I do make cards, I usually do it on the dining room table where there is Lots of light. Don't feel bad for me....it will get done and be alot nicer when it's finished. Have a great weekend. I'm thinking a couple of estate sales are calling my name. :)
Happy treasure hunting too. Don't forget your ideas. Warmly, Deb

BETH MOORE AND ... GARAGE SALE GAL GOODIE GIVE AWAY :) :)

Where to start.. Beth Moore is truly amazing. Her love for God is something for me to strive for. Friday evening started with the singing with the worship team, lead by Travis Cottrell. This was the first time I've heard him and ended up buying one of his CD's. Nothing like good music :) Then Beth came and her theme for the weekend was "Between a Rock and a Hard Place." Most of the lesson was from Hebrews 12. There were other verses from other books. These are some of her words that are still going around in my mind...guess the Lord's talking to me...What do you do when you are stuck between a rock and a hard place..Don't lose heart over it, humble myself and receive it and don't lose sight of the purpose of "it" , make a change. It's hard to write down and share with you about the event. So, I would recommend that you go for yourself . She doesn't have the same study at each event. She asks God, what should she talk to these women about and God gives me the answer. There were a few men there too. That's great :) The event ended with singing on Saturday and that was moving for me. Tears :) :) :) Now comes the hard part, to DO IT.

Question from a 5 year old

Recently while driving, Kailee said to me "God sees everything. How does He do that?" Wow, okay, let me think before I answer. My answer, He is above us in Heaven and maybe He has very BIG eyes, so He can see everyone. Thankfully, that seemed to answer her question.

I have been going to Bible Study Fellowship for the past 5 years. Kailee was able to go with me for 2 years before she started pre-school. She and I have learned a lot. Her pre-school is a Christian one. She has asked some awesome questions and a couple of times I've had to say, I don't know the answer. It's also awesome that she is learning so much about Jesus. Once in awhile she humbles me with her faith and that's a good thing. I am so blessed to have her in my life. She is so joyful and loves to learn. She will be in kindergarten this fall and going full time, so our time together will be so different. I have been her daycare person since she was born. We are buddies, sometimes like two peas in a pod. We do everything together. I'm training her in the fine art of garage sailing and thrift store shopping :) I will miss her as she starts a new chapter in her little life. I'll also be starting a new chapter in mine as I will probably find a part time job, which husband is encouraging :( . So ,this fall I'll be more of a Grandma to her instead of a daycare Mommy. I am so thankful for our years together and look forward to the years to come. A bittersweet time for both of us, even though she's only 5. I better go, my eyes are tearing up. A Thankful Grandma. Warmly, Deb

THE BOYS

The BOYS, Mack, Jackson Brown and Scout

This is Granddog, Chopper, one Cool pit bull who belongs to my son Aaron. Chopper thinks he's small and wants to be on your lap. He is the sweetest dog ever. Pit bulls are nice. He is proof that if you love them and treat them nice ,they are nice and love you. Chopper also loves to give Grandma, me, kisses.

Harley is the one with 2 black ears next to Bentley in the doggy bed. Our much missed boys.
Mack and Scout by the fireplace. Top photo, watching TV on Daddy's leg is Mack with Daddy, Harley.

As you have read about, we have 3 Jack Russell terriers. Back in 1996 we adopted ourfirst Jack named him Harley. He was a sweet heart, quick learner, and our favorite. Then we adopted a girlfriend for him and her name is Mercedes. Just before her 2nd birthday, we had 6 super cute puppies. 3 boys and 3 girls. Newman, Norton, Bentley(my favorite), Shelby,Mickey and Morgan. Shortly after the puppies went to new Mom's and Dad's Mercedes was too aggressive to Harley and she went to live with a new family, as a only Dog child. We see her once in awhile:) Harley had seizures and was on medicine for months and in 2003, had 7 seizures in one day while on the meds. That was a very sad day and we decided to let Harley be at peace:( Thinking about it still brings tears to me eyes:( Before that we had rescued a stray Jack up where my sister lives in the country where people dump their unwanted pets. :( We named the new guy Scout. So living with us was, Harley, his sons Mack (aka Newman) Bentley and Scout. Then Kailee was born and Bentley became aggressive to Mack around Kailee. Bentley went to live with Eileen who loved him until he had stomach cancer last November. That was a very sad day for me, as Bentley was my boy. Tears, again. We tried and have kept in contact with the families that have our puppies. When we moved 4 years ago we had Mack and Scout. This past August we adopted Jackson Brown, so bad to 3 boys. It's been fun....Jackson Brown is also known as, Shredder as he loves to shred magazines, papers, a couple of shoes, toys, whatever was in his puppy reach. Another name he knows is Digger. As a true Jack, Jackson/Digger loves to dig, especially if he thinks a critter is there. No, Bad Dog, is another name, Barker, No Barking another name. As you can tell...he is the busy boy here. We are thinking that this will be Scout's last summer with us. He has doggy old-timer things state to happen, zones out, looks lots, eats weird things outside, etc.... The circle of life. Enjoy the pics. Also, I keep trying to add you Great Gals to my blog list. If it isn't working this time, please let me know and I'll keep trying. Mind over matter/computer. Thanks for visiting and love to hear your puppy/dog or kitty stories. Warmly, Deb
