SOME SWEET VALENTINES

burrrrr it's SOOO COLD here. Tuesday morning it was -24 at 9AM...today not as COLD but there was a little wind and the rest of the week it will be COLD... I NEED TO MOVE... I thought I would show you some sweet Valentine's that I have. Of course, I'm very fond of puppy cards....
and little girls with dark hair...since I'm a burnett they could be me ?? LOL

Isn't this one below just too cute. I love her little basket and her rosy cheeks. I have been working on some projects and will show you them later this week. I figure when the crafting bug bites, I'd better do it. Tomorrow I am going to learn how to CLEAN HOUSES. A friend of mine has her own little cleaning company and I asked her to show me how to clean a house (I'm working for free to learn) and she accepted my offer. If it goes OK, I may try to get some homes to clean to earn $$$. She makes $25.00 per hour...WOW... stayed tune to hear that story... not real sure about cleaning other people's toilet....but I'm seeing dollar signs $$$$
Where has this month gone...it's already the 14th....
I Hope you all are well and keeping WARM...I'm trying to keep WARM....Hawaii sounds like a nice place to move to...I should ask husband what he thinks... :) :) :) I STILL like making those little Smiley Faces...I know it's goofy... :)
Be Happy.
Deb

Good luck with the Clean House project. A lady in our church used to do that. Not sure if she still does it. But she was very particular in her cleaniness.

Hi Deb... I'm just loving♥ your Vintage Valentine's! I'm dark-haired too, so I really love those sweet girlie cards of yours... they're just so much fun to collect, aren't they?! I like your idea of house cleaning to earn some money... I'll hold good thoughts for you and send up some prayers! I thought it was cold here, but dang, girl, you've got me beat! Snuggle up under a heavy quilt and keep dreaming of the beach... Ohhh, lil Cocoa Puff was a naughty girl the other day... I was soooo sad, because it was her first time to be naughty... I'd left her in the foyer, playing on her blanket while I went to get a glass of kool-aid... next thing I knew, she was at my feet with sawdust on her mouth... I went back to the foyer and found that she'd gotten a wooden rocking horse ornie off of my tree, yes it is still up, and she'd eaten almost all of the horse! NO COCOA, NOOOO! I'm certain that there will be more naughty moments to come in life... Take care, my friend, and do keep warm... God bless...

~hugs 'n prayers~

P.S. I like your smilie faces and do not think they are goofy at all... ~grins~

Weather wise -I'm with you-I would like to move also-I don't like anything about winter anymore. I know I sound like doom and gloom, but its true. I think the darkness is the worst for me. Cleaning- I know quite a few ladies that do that kind of thing, and it can be brutal- If its not my toilet, yes I would have a problem with that too!!

I'm feeling so guilty because our weather here in California has been GORGEOUS...in the 70's!

Good luck tomorrow...I wish I had someone to clean my toilets!

Hi Deb! You should check out cleaning offices too. How bad can that be and I think the money is pretty darn good. I know the people that clean my office have it quite easy because we don't even have our own bathroom so it's just desks, trash and the little lunchroom area. They come twice a week, they're probably here for a half hour and we pay close to $300 a month. Check out office buildings with common bathrooms. The landlords take care of the bathrooms and you could just do the offices. A suggestion for whatever it's worth!!

Ugh it is pretty cold there, isn't it. Don't move to Hawaii...Move here :0). Houses going for real cheap these days and we're having beautiful warm temps this week. Winters are very mild, but the summer's can be brutal.
Let us know how the cleaning venture goes. My bff has a cleaning lady and my bff will actually clean before the cleaning lady gets there because she does't want her to think that they are slobs, lol! I know! Go figure.

LOL @ I need to move! I can totally relate to that today, my friend. I went out to get the mail and I swear I almost froze solid in that 4 minutes! I am not sure if I could clean other people's houses...I hate cleaning my own...especially the bathrooms...ewwwww! Maybe offices would be better?

Mornin' Deb!

Love your brunette cards. So many vintage cards that I have seen have blondes. Not that I don't like blondes but... well... you know! :>

I used to clean houses. Some clients were great and others... were not. ;> I could tell some interesting stories! It is good, quick money though- if you work the right neighborhood. All my clients were hand me downs from other women who had moved on to a different line of work but if I did it again I'd target a certain area.
A tip for the toliets: Close your eyes a lot! I'm serious! :> Paper towel first- then a rag.

Have a great day, Deb!
