These are the few finds from the estate sale on Saturday that I got up at 5:30 AM!!! It was a digger's sale, but NOT to the Nth!!!

Yesterday we went to a friend's house to watch the Superbowl. It's the only football game that I watch. She made some very good snacks!!! Today I was at HQ for 3+ hours getting my space ready for the sale on Feb 12Th-15Th. I need more things...I know that sounds silly. The room must be Packed with treasures. Tomorrow after Bible study, GUESS I'll HAVE TO go to the thrift store and find more treasures. I am finding less treasures at the thrift stores. So many people are shopping there and I think they are also in the reselling business :)

I'll take photos of the cards from the card swap that is Thursday night. Maybe some of you gals will see a new idea. Just a short and sweet post. Until next time....
Deb :)

Are you seeing less sales at your booth because of the economy? I'm sure everyone is cutting back.

Looks like you found some treasures, please take photos of your booth when it is ready!

Thrift stores are a hit or miss. I have left without anything many times. It's all luck or faith.

I don't have the fortitude to get up that early for an Estate sale. More power to you girl.

Show us when your done all the goodies your going to sell.

It looks like you found some treasures in those pictures and other "pretties".

Tom and I found a consignment shop a couple of weekends ago...and have been back since...and both times found some great "pretties" which I'll be posting about tomorrow!!

Hi Deb,
Hey thanks for sharing your treasures today. I have never been to an estate sale (sigh) Just garage sales and thrift stores. I love finding treasures as well. I have been searching for buttons but here in Hawaii they are so limited and I just can't find any in our thrift stores.

Hey Early Bird Shopper! Loved your goodies... especially the precious teenie ceramic deer... Awesome Cuppie Cake picks... did I see PINK girls and a PINK bird?? I hope you're keeping the Pink "H" Powder Box! How lucky to find Valentine Hankies... you've got a great collection of those... I'm praying for your HQ Sale, and looking forward to seeing photos of your booth, too!

It is supposed to start snowing early this morning and go through the night... UGH... It's got me rather upset, and I'm begging God to not let it be too bad... Hope your day is kind to you... Keep warm!!
God bless...

~hugs, love ♥ 'n prayers~

Have fun at the thrift store Deb!

Hi Deb,
Thanks for asking about the buttons. I am working on some vintage crafts and tried to find some pearly looking burrons or any silver ones. Different sizes and shapes old looking. I remember when you could find them in jars or cans at the thrift stores, but now it seems they are no where to be found, here on island.
Thanks for your help.

Deb, we're not finding as much at the thrift stores either. I think the secret is out. Guess we should have kept it to ourselves. Sorry your sale wasn't the Nth, but looks like you found some goodies! Twyla

Looks like you were able to find some great treasures at the estate sale. I'd love to see pics of your booth all "decked out".
I know with our thrift stores it's all about timing and luck. Sometimes I find wonderful things, sometimes I don't :0(

Hope you had some luck at the thrift store! I know I haven't found much of anything with the thrift stores being so busy all the time. Good luck with your booth!
