Friday finds and Saturday's stuff

It seems that the Friday estate sales are pretty darn good. This sale was at an older home and they seem to have the best stuff. It was a "digger" sale also :)17 hankies for 1.00 each is the going price at estate sales..It was so HOT & HUMID at the sale that I had to use one of the hankies to wipe the sweat off my face...eww..

Vintage Christmas glasses...SWEET!! old cards from the 40's, and little bit of this and that...

Old hat, sweet train case for 4.00 and I think my favorite is the vintage Christmas candy still had the wrappers in it :) $1.50 for the candy box.

This awesome bench was bought at an moving sale...$2.00...can you believe that!!! I bought it on Thursday.

These finds are from Saturday. Hubby said I paid too much for the glass lady and man pictures...I don't think SO!!! Of course it's time to pick up seasonal items for the monthly sale.

Garden Junk book was only $4.00 and will stay on my book shelf. I so enjoy books.
Today we went back for the 1/2 off deals and I found my chandelier...for only 12.00 that's $12.00 and I'll show you that soon. It's SWEET!!! I didn't see it yesterday and am so happy that I found one. God does give us richly all things to enjoy.
It finally cooled off today..THANK YOU, LORD!!!
As you have read or seen on TV the PGA Gold Tourney was here. I'm not into not a big deal for me.
It's going to be a busy week. Tomorrow lunch with a friend, Tuesday Mall of America with Kailee and her little Tuesday friend, Wednesday, finish getting my space ready for the sale that starts on Thursday. Friday we are going to a concert that hubby won from a radio program and Saturday I work at HQ.... I could use another ME!! and also on Saturday is the "Wizard of OZ" gala by Two Crazy Crafters...I must not forget that!!!
May not be around much this week....I'll stop by when I can...
Deb :)

Hi Sis ~ I absolutely love that bench...what a steal that was!

I really need to get my Halloween decor boxes out of the basement to see what I have. Knowing me, I'll probably buy stuff that I already have! It's been so nuts at our house lately, that I really don't have room for those boxes.

Have a great week...sounds like you'll be one busy little lady!

I LOVE the little Christmas glasses, I have never seen those before! Have fun at Malls of America, my daughter Breezy AKA The Pink Door will be in your neck of the woods. She flies in today for Rock Stars Concert. Small World. Have fun!

What a steal that bench was. It is a blank canvas too. Oh the possibilites. Speaking of steals, so were those hankies. At least I think so, because in my neck of the woods (Northern Calif)they would have been asking $3.00 to $4.00 a piece for them. As always I will stand there dumbfounded thinking, its the end of the day and you still haven't sold these very sought after items. Maybe it's time rethink the price.
Have a great week. ~Sue

Deb, that bench is beautiful! I sure hope you're keeping that:), but I bet you plan on selling it. It is wonderful! You didn't pay too much for the silhouettes. Around here they would each be more than you paid for the pair. Wonderful finds as always! Hope your cooling down by now. Have a nice week! Twyla

Hi, Deb! Even though I'm such a hanky lover, the candy cane glasses are my favorite! One of my little dreams is to one day go to an estate sale with a girlfriend. I'm too shy to go alone! ♥

Hi Deb,
Love all your finds especially that bench!! What a deal!! I will give you $4.00 for it and you double your money instantly. LOL

Those hankies were a great find too. I purchase hankies for $1.00 or less and don't pay more than that. I think it is crazy to see a hanky for $4.00.
Can't wait to see the chandelier !!

Loved seeing all your nice finds. I think maybe you should keep the cool bench, its nice, but pure profit if ya sale it. I closed my shop shelves for now, not enough time to devote to it what it takes. I'm gonna pick back up through the winter months maybe, I am always confused about what to buy, I always want to KEEP the good stuff and that is a huge problem for me, wish I had you here to help me.

Ignore the poor grammar near the end of my previous comment :o) I started to write "You ARE the Garage Sale Gal after all" or something like that, but changed it and didn't delete the "AND"...oh brother...

I love the silhouette pictures that your hubby said you paid too much for! My mother used to paint silhouette and I had one of her pairs framed after she passed away. I'm always on the lookout for silhouettes now. You always seem to find great things!!
