I'm doing easy and simple for my Thanksgiving Decor...plus I don't have much and I decorate for Christmas right after Thanksgiving day.
Bow window in the dining area, above and fireplace mantle below. I altered the banner on the mirror.

I took this picture today of JB...he has his perch on top of an old chest with his dog bed, looking outside and enjoying the view.

I know the "chamber pot" is a little chippy, missing it's handles...it still had to come home with me and live in my bathroom. See the picture below...her name is "Betty" and she will find a new home next to the other new ones in the living room. Don't you love old sheet music. The little needlework pieces are "rugs" that the older lady made for her doll houses. These were extra ones that had to come home too! See the old cow bell? I would LOVE to have a collar of old cow bells. They are SO expensive...

The estate sale is all over and not all the items were sold. I'm not sure what will happen to the left overs.
Now...I can think about getting ready for the sale at HQ which is on the 19th...and it's a Christmas theme. I have a few totes of Christmas items to mark. I am so in the mood to craft and hope to do some this weekend. No estate sales for us this weekend. Gotta get the house in order, rake up leaves and a few more projects.
Happy treasure hunting to those of you who are going!!!
Warmly,
Deb :)

Hi Deb, your Thanksgiving decorations are so pretty, I especially love all your turkey plates. I start decorating for Christmas right after Thanksgiving too...I can hardly wait...hugs, Linda
I did not drag out any of my Halloween decorations because everyone was sick here....and I don't have any Thanksgiving ones...so I guess I will just wait for Christmas to get here. I have lots and lots for that.
You always seem to find some neat stuff. I have an addiction to old sheet music...I love the covers of some of those! So nostalgic.
Thank you SO much for your kind words and emails. You have lifted my spirit so much. I treasure you, dear friend. Thank you!
Love the doll house rugs...very cute!! What will you do with them?

Deb, What a fun post! I wish I decorated for Thanksgiving. Your plates are beautiful! If you lived in Ohio, you would already be decorated for Christmas! I kid you not! Halloween goes up Sept 1, Christmas Nov 1. There is always a holiday being celebrated in my town! Fun to catch up and visit. Have a lovely weekend! Elizabeth
Girl, I just took down my fall stuff and won;t decorate again until Christmas...and this year I'm not doing as much...I think at my age it's time to slow it down a bit...I will enjoy the grand kids home instead ha ha!!Loved seeing all of yours...Glad your sale when great for you...Hugs and smiles Gl♥ria

Happy that you finished with the estate sale and that you can do other things that you enjoy! I know it was a lot of work but rewarding too. Sweet puppy dog in his comfortable spot:) Have a blessed day!

Deb, your house looks so pretty decorated for Thanksgiving. Love all your goodies from the estate sale. What's the little blue enamel bowl in the front of the picture?! That caught my eye! Hope you are having a great day! Twyla
Hi Deb! I definitely like what you did with the Give Thanks banner. You can see the letters so much better that way!
I think easy and simple is the way to go for Thanksgiving decorating. We want to get it down quickly so that we can start bringing on the Christmas, right?!
my dog sits on top of our chest with his dog bed on it so he doesnt scratch it up and loos out the window! That is too funny! great decorations!
A very nice post and your items are so gorgeous, I sure like the chamber pot, it is prettier than the old bucket we used at night as kids, ha, ha. Your dog is so cute, makes me miss mine. I am surprised you did not bring home half the estate sale, your decorations are pretty, I like to put old doilies under mine also. Thank you for coming by, have a nice week end.
Have a great weekend Pea...m...
I love you Thanksgiving decor. The window looks so pretty.
Wow, the estate sale is finally over. That was a huge event!
I wonder how many people you have at your house for Thanksgiving dinner???
Have a really fun weekend.
your home looks so festive!!!!!
You do have a special touch! I've never really decorated for Thanksgiving. We go straight from Halloween to Christmas. I should really give more respect to the pilgrims.
Love your Thanksgiving decorations, seeing the milkglass turkey reminds me that I have some milkglass turkey salt and pepper shakers that I didn't get out yet.
LMK what you think of the Shack.
You find such beautiful treasures. You have an eye for beauty and thanks for sharing them here. Your dog has a great place to relax and watch the world.
Wonderful Thanksgiving decor, Deb... I don't believe that I have anything "Thanksgiving-eee" to decorate with... we just go from Halloween right into Christmas!
YAY for the massive estate sale being over!! I know you're glad about that...
JB is adorable... ~ smoochies ~
Talk with you soon...
