Estate Finds and Tag Along

It wasn't as COLD as "they" said it was this we went to a couple of estate sales on Saturday. AWESOME vintage books....look at these wonderful graphics :) and they were a 1.00 each!!!
Linen, not old, jewelry and misc...

Cool postcards....the Thanksgiving ones have beads on them...haven't seen that before..see the ladies in the flower/Easter postcard...unique also!!!

This is my Tag Along for the month of February that Elizabeth at Creative Breathing does. She provides the picture and then you make it up as you like. Just something fun to do!
Pretty quiet is a mess and that is top of the "to do" list for this week. If all goes as planned...lunch at a Chick Place with my friend Jeanne later this week. They have the best food and popovers that melt in your mouth...with a little help from the honey butter!!!
That's all the news for now....
Deb :)

Great vintage cards and postcards. That book is wonderful.
Sounds like a nice weekend. So, now house cleaning this week. Take it easy. It does not all need to be done in one day.

Have a nice lunch with your friend.

Hi Sis ~ I love those old books...they have the best pictures in there!

You find the best by me, they want an astronomical price for them and I won't pay it!

It was cold here last week...this week we're supposed to get snow again! Glenn and I haven't ice fished this year at all...I'm having withdrawals!

Great books Deb! You really do find some interesting things when you go "hunting". Maybe I need to look harder when I go to places. I find that things are either too tacky or too expensive. That one Valentine is hilarious!

Love the old books, and only $1.00! I'm going to have to give up my title of best thrift shopper. =))

And it was so sweet of you not to enter the giveaway at Diane's so I could win. =0))
Think you can get everyone else to go along with that? NOT!!
So, you go ahead and enter. I will be happy if you win. I just absolutely adore about anything that girl makes. =)

Hope you have a most wonderful week.
I so enjoy when i see you have come by.

Hi Deb, I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE my box of Valentine Goodies I won for your giveaway! Everything is precious! I love the vintage Valentines. David got a kick out of them and loved looking at each one! He thought one of them said from "David," but it was Donald! LOL! I love the little felt heart! It is so cute, and the little key is the perfect Valentine touch! And the chocolates...girl, you gave away the GOOD stuff! They didn't last long! :)

The crocheted doily brought back sweet memories. Did you make it? My grandmother used to make those. There were so many daughters and grandaughters in the family, that I unfortunately didn't get any that she made, when she passed. The one you sent will always be a treasure and remind me of her. And the sweet little hankerchief was beautiful!

Thanks for boxing it all in the pretty box! Made me feel so special, opening it! :) I just loved it all. I was so thankful, because all those goodies are the extent of my VD decorations! I'll try to post Friday, so that you can see the vignette I created with all my stuff, and to publicly THANK you! It turned out really cute! Would post before, but I've got to work tomorrow, and Thursday, David has a root canal! :( Keep him in your prayers, if you will. He is only 11, and I little nervous! But he is a trooper!

Thanks again, for the wonderful giveaway! You made my day! :) ~hugs, Rhonda
