First Estate Sale of 2010 & Gifts

I was inspired by Elizabeth at Creative Breathing to make these little felt hearts. She makes some with birds on them. I made a "to do" craft list and this was on it!!! Of course there is room
for improvement with my stitches :) It's very fun and relaxing making them :) Twyla, have you made any of your Valentine Mushrooms?! I'll do a post soon with my Valentine treasures.

Yes....this is ALL we bought at the first estate sale of 2010...a huge storage bin, green shabby night stand, Barbie in Coke theme (hubby picked it out!) sweet little rose dish and grater...oh well...there are many more weeks ahead to find treasures :)

I recently won 2 giveaways. The cards above are from Elizabeth at Creative Breathing. I won 3rd place and I'll use them for projects for Christmas 2010. THANK YOU Elizabeth!!!

These 2 photos of gifts I won from Andrea at Vintage Bella Studio! She also likes to create lovely treasures with paper goodies. THANK YOU Andrea!!! One item is a music sheet folder...how creative!!! and she also embellished a picture frame!

Hubby hasn't been his sweet little self...was speaking of me getting a JOB...and that I spend too much time "blogging"... hummmm... and yet today he helped me scan vintage Valentine cards to show you very soon :) Must be the Cold weather!!!
I have almost finished my Valentine projects. I am working on Valentine cards. I also need to get going on my ATC swap as those cards are to be in the mail by the 25th. The next sale at HQ is the 21st-24th and I need to price items and get them to the shop.
I may not be visiting as I would like to...as I want to keep the Peace and not get a "real" JOB!!
Keep warm...hear it's cold all over the US...and take care!
Warmly,
Deb :)

I am sure it is just the cold weather and hubby doesn't really want you to get a JOB. Retirement is too wonderful for you to do that.

How do you hear about all those great Estate Sales? You sure find the "good finds."

Love your little felt hearts. So sweet.

Believe it or not my ATCs are all done and ready to mail. I won't mail them for a week. Now, I will start on Valentine cards.

Have a nice evening. Hugs...

OH NO... not WORK! I did that for 30 years and never want to do that again! I don't mind doing volunteering but not work! Hopefully it will pass:) Love the little felt hearts and congrats on all of the goodies you won! Great gifts!

Have a wonderful weekend and happy crafting!

Those felt hearts are just darling and I'm totally loving that cute little green stand. That would fit right in at my house with my shabby chic/cottage style of decorating. Are you excited about the big warm up on the way for next week? I sure am. It's going to feel downright balmy here in Minnesota after these frigid temps we've been having. Enjoy the rest of your weekend..

Love those felt hearts! I was at a secondhand shop today and saw something that made me think of you ... it was blue and white tile with an image of an antique-looking ladies shoe in a white distressed frame. My ATCs are almost done and I will mail them next week. I hope you don't have to get a J-O-B!

What fun finds at the sale. The felt hearts are LOVELY. What fun! I am sure DH is nor serious... just get those sales at HQ!!!

I think that blogging sometimes helps sales. I know I have a local following since I add things in that are going on locally on my blog... like auctions etc!

Deb, I think your hearts are adorable! I have a whole basket I made of them. They are quite addictive. My hubby does the same confusing stuff. He'll tell me don't use the credit cards and then say, 'I called and got your new card activated.' Huh?! Your winnings are wonderful. Those cards so pretty. Have a wonderful week! Twyla

Hi, Deb! Those hearts are so cute. There's just something about the way felt holds color so gently...

I like that chunky night stand. I like whicker but I also like solid chuncky pieces!

Our poor hubby's. I think they get scared and then the scare passes and they forget all about it. ♥

Hi Deb, Love the little felt hearts! They are so cute! They would make a nice teacher's gift. I may have to try a few! :)

Your thrifting looks about like mine, for the year so far! I haven't found much in the last two months. This time, last year, I'd found tons of cool second hand treasures. No such luck, so far.

Got an email from Pearl! Was so glad to hear from her. Haven't had time to send one back yet, will do that later this evening. Thanks for relaying my concern to her! I was really getting worried!

Stay warm and look busy...off of the blog! LOL! Then maybe husband will forgo the JOB search! LOL! :) ~hugs, Rhonda
