New Mantle Mirror and Tea Cup Swap Goodies

This is the mirror that I bought on Sunday at the estate sale in Wisconsin
Here it is all shabby chic...I think it may be a hung a little low...hubby helped and you know how that can go!!! I may have something to put above it. I have to DIG around. My sister made the "H" shadow box for me for my birthday. It works for my maiden name and married name :)

Looking for treats :)

I received my Tea Cup swap goodies from my partner, Becky at http://camelliacottagediary.blogspot.com/ Very pretty Tea cup, tea towel, tea, honey, tea bag holder, tea spoon and strainer and the sweetest card. Thank you, Becky!!! All the treasures are wonderful :)

These are goodies that Marilyn received from her partner, Michele. These gals don't have blogs...YET !!!

and this is what Michele received from Marilyn. Thanks gals for joining the swap :) ( I hope I put the right names with the right treasures!)

Linda from http://ljm-alacarte.blogspot.com/ and Patti from http://pattiannsblog.blogspot.com
are partners from the swap also. I'm not sure if they have posted about their swap at this time. Thank you gals :)
We are going to a Minnesota Twins game tomorrow at the New Stadium...free tickets from a client of hubby's. I'm not into baseball, sorry, it will be fun to see the stadium, once!!!
I think an estate sale is on the "to do" list too! Of course the house is still PACKED....It's a addiction, REALLY!!!
Have a great weekend. It's almost August!!! I did buy my first Christmas gift at Michael's. They have the dollar calendars out and the "kids" always get one from me:)
Warmly,
deb :)

Oh, what lovely tea goodies you all have received!!! No, Linda and I haven't posted about ours yet....at least I haven't, and I haven't been on the computer much today to see if she has...though I wouldn't want to see if she has since I don't want to ruin my surprise.

I forgot to take a photo of all the goodies before they were mailed, so Linda will just have to do that from her end.

Also, although my blog is Fill My Cup with Beauty, I actually have a different URL.. pattiannsblog.blogspot.com

Oh, and we are huge baseball fans in our house, especially my son...and he LOVES Joe Mauer, whose name you will recognize after tomorrow. He's a super amazing catcher and one of the best guys on your team.

Enjoy your weekend.

Hugs,
Patti

You bought your first Christmas gift already! I can't believe that the holidays are just around the corner!

The mirror turned out great and looks perfect!

Have fun at the game. I haven't been to a ball game in years. Growing up we went to the Angels and Dodgers games often. Fun fun memories!

Hi Deb.
LOVE the mirror all shabbied up! so sweet in white.

about teabag roses: try cutting the tea bag in thirds or half instead of fourths, and see if that is easier to work with. It does just take practice to. =)

blessed by all your visits.

Deb your swap partner sent you some lovely things. Patti and I are sending ours a little late but it will be fun to get them. I didn't take a photo before sending so Patti will have to share what I sent her. I am looking forward to receiving my gift from Patti.. It has been great fun getting to know her. Thanks for hosting this Deb.

I am sorry that I missed out on the teacup swap and whimsy jar swap. Looks like you have found so much wonderful treasures in your adventures on weekends. Also I wanted you to know that I use to belong to a sorority called Sub Deb many years ago. I thought that hat box was interesting. Take care.

Hi Miss Deb !
Really ?? You already bought a Christmas gift? I have to admit that when my boys were younger I usually had my Christmas shopping done by the end of September. But in the last 5 years I'm lucky if I get it done by Christmas Eve! LOL.
I love your new mirror. It looks great shabbied white and I love the shadowbox your sis made for you. I might have to borrow that idea. Girl, you always have the best swaps. I am not a coffee drinker and my favorite tea is Vanilla Chai Tea steamed with milk....Yum. Lovely tea treasures!
Have a great Sunday,
Hugs,
Toni ♥

I love the mirror and it looks great painted white and shabby chic! I was very interested in your "H" shadowbox because I was playing around with that very idea last week using all the small "E"s I have collected and are gathering dust. I arranged them and in a frame but never got around to finishing the project. Your sister did a wonderful job on the shadowbox.
Have a great week.

Oh my, Christmas already?! I like that mirror-- it looks good. Your tea cup and towel are so pretty. I hope it has cooled off a little for you, Deb!

Your new mirror is so pretty. I like where you hung it with Hubby's help. Something above it would look good.

Your doggies are so cute. Looking for treats. My cat Rocky loves his treats and begs for them in front of the cupboard where we keep them.

I mailed my August ATCs today.
