On Friday, my friend "J" came over and we "made goodies"...I made the treasures above. "J" helped me with the pin keeps and cut out the Scottie dog...I "tried" my hand with the stitching.
The treasures above and below "J" made...aren't the baby shoe just Darling!!! The flowers are pins to wear. J is very good at crafts and LOVES to SEW!!!
We had a great time together. 2 minds work better than 1 (mine) !!
Just a few goodies...I KNOW...I wasn't going to go to estate sales...REALLY!!! Something just HAPPENS!!! The "support" group meetings will start soon :) LOL
The weather was just too much this past week and I didn't have energy to do much...neither did little SWEET PEA...THE END!!! She sleeps in the funnest positions.
Busy week...sale at HQ, Kailee for 2 days, putting the "finishing touches" on my room and then it's the weekend again!!
Thanks for being my blogging friends :) I hope you are enjoy the summer. The BIG MN State Fair starts Aug 26th ... a sure sign that summer is winding down! I have seen a couple of tree leaves changing color!!!

OMGosh Deb.. That picture of Sweet Pea is just too funny. What a crazy puppy you have. I did make it to Rogers and visited the antique shops they have there and I also stopped in Anoka on my way home to visit the shops open for their once a month sales. Bought a few embellished gift cards & tags in one of the shops in Anoka that I'll share later in the week after I get some decent pictures of them. Didn't find much else, at least nothing I could afford. Everything I liked was either way over my budget or had that annoying little tag on that said "NFS".
Oh no, now I am so jealous! I love the fair! About 4 years ago I went home just for the fair and the fried cheese curds! My Mom leaves Mn tomorrow to come to Florida, she said the weather was hot anyway she might as well head down early for the season, OOPs now you said it is nice! Love your little treasures you and your friends made!

I love the opportunity to hang out with friends and "make stuff". I love your pin keeps and scottie dog. And dogs...yours crack me up! Sweet Pea is the funniest. I've only been to one sale this summer. The ads aren't even attracting me. (and there could be some guilt for me about how much I already have...hahahaha)
The heat has been oppressive here, too and no rain. Our lawn crunches when you walk on it!!

Sweet crafts and what is lil Sweet Pea up to..hehehe!
Isn't sewing with a friend fun. Sweet Pea is such a cutie. Just the thought of mowing or weeding breaks me out in a sweat. Here in East Texas we are sweltering in over 100 degree heat.
