Ideas and More at Junk Bonanza

Welcome to the Junk Bonanza...we arrived around 11 AM...had to stop at a garage sale on the way there... it opened at 10 AM unless you paid $20.00 for an early bird shopping from 8-10..which we didn't do...It was so CROWDED!!!
This table setting is from a local thrift store. Notice the napkin "rings" are cuffs from a guys shirt and the pocket holds the spoon...cleaver!!! and the trim around the place mats are also from the shirt! GREAT IDEA!!! Love thrift store shopping!

Fun booth and the bike sold before I left the show. I did buy a couple of things from this booth.

"Tre" the owner of How Quaint on the outside of her space at JB...our sale starts on Thursday!
I image she is very tired today, as it's the last day of the sale.

Another fun booth with "velvet" pumpkins which I sooo wanted..however the tiny one was $10.00 which I thought was too much...sometimes I'm cheap...plus I "could" make one!!! LOL!!!

These gals, Patty and Deb are from Haupt Antiek Market which is a monthly sale shop, located in Apple Valley, MN. They are sweeties. For more information about the upcoming sale go to http://www.hauptantiek.com/ you will LOVE Deb's shop!!!

They had 2 trailer's for sale at the show..isn't this just SWEET!!! I didn't see a price...

Very nice inside and all ready for the new owners. I don't know if it sold...

Another photo inside of the trailer.
My friend, "J" and I were there for 5 hours and didn't see EVERYTHING!!! You need the whole day! It was less crowded around 1 so we could see inside the booths that we couldn't see when you first come into the show.
I also visited with Linda from http://itsy-bits-and-pieces.blogspot.com/ and bought a few goodies from her which I will show you in another post this week.
I hope you enjoyed the few photos that I took at the show. Enjoy your Sunday! We are having a little family gathering for hubby's birthday.
Warmly,
deb :)

That Junk Bonanza looks like a great place to visit. I like how they recycled the shirt, I recycle jeans all the time.

Hi, Deb! I hope those trailers sold for those girls! I'd much rather fix one up myself than buy one ready made but it *is* a good business idea! ♥

OH MY HECK, I love the bicycle on the back of that awesome little camper! And Junk Bonanza looks like a blast. We had something similar here, but like most everything, it became very commercial and the vendors we have now are mostly selling new, cheap imports and knock-off designer items. I wish we could find a place that only allows "junk".

Looks like an awesome place to shop! Would love to have a place like that in my neck of the woods!

I sold at Junk Bonanza last year and Thursday was the most crowded. Friday was much calmer. We had great sales and enjoyed meeting so many people. Unfortunately ( or fortunately) this year, I got a teaching job and so we didn't go. Thanks for sharing some glimpses!

Oh what a fun time visiting the Junk Bonanza! Thanks for taking me along...I know you all had a blast. That is a very cleaver idea in that booth that used men's shirts as napkin rings ect.. too cute...I'm sure that one will be a hit :)

Hope your hubby had a very Happy B'day :)

We got had the new storage building built (12 by 20)....and you know I'm thrilled about that! They finished it up on Thursday and then over the weekend hubby wired it and we have electricity, so we have lights and a fan...I put two tables out there in a corner and have my craft things out of the closet and sitting on the tables now...still have so much still to do, but I have a craft corner now Yippee, and more storage for seasonal things ect too! Slowly we will get it all together and I'll be sure to show it in a post one of these days. It may be a while from now though. The hubby's gotta build some shelves inside it so we can really get organized with the totes/bins. I tell you honey, it is so nice to be able to walk inside my closet again lol! You should have seen my bedroom floor yesturday...there wasn't even a spot to step, after I cleaned the craft stuff out of the closet..I never thought I had that much stuff and I seriously don't know how it all fit in there now...lol!
Hope you have a great week...you know what I'll be doing...organizing and more organizing.
Big Hugs,
Queenie
