Mayhem, Cards and doors

These are photos of "Mayhem"...aka Sweet Pea and Lippy Lois and Naughty Nancy!!! She was barking a little too much today and a neighbor called "animal control" and I rec'd a "warning!!" The neighbor really doesn't like dogs. He also yells at them to "shut up"...and we really do try to keep them "quiet"...hey...they are dogs and that's how they talk... we call the neighbor "crab man"...

This is a "pumpkin tree" that I picked up at Trader Joe's and saw at the JB! It's so COOL! I'll try to get some seeds from it and see if I can grow one!

Some cards that I made in between blogging and pricing goodies...

This is what I'll be working on...3 interior doors and their trim...it's my goal to get it done before the "girlfriend" weekend! I won't be around much and won't be "shopping"much either. I have a couple other "to do's" on my list ... busy, busy, busy!
Tomorrow starts the projects...see you soon!
Warmly,
deb :)

Why do some neighbors have to be so crabby...all dogs bark sometimes! And you've probably put up with his noisy leaf blower or something else! Adorable cards, and that's quite a project you have going on! Hope your girlfriend weekend goes great!

What a doll sweet pea is...tell her not to worry about the grouchy neighbor, and you don't either sweetie. Gosh, I honestly cannot believe you got a warning from animal control...I have never heard of such.

Loved the cards you made those are so cute:) It's honestly hard to believe that October is almost here isn't it? This month has flew by.

Sounds like a busy busy week ahead for you, with the door and trim projects...I know it will turn out so nice...I'll be thinking of you :)

Big Hugs, and give the sweet doggies a hug from me too, okay?

Looks like you have had a great day!! As for barking... you could try an anti-bark coller, but honestly I'd get a good trainer. They really are reasonable now days and that is the best way. BELIEVE ME, I need one too ;) Sorry I am no good with the barking. Is it an outside problem, surely not getting complaints about inside barking. A can, jar or bottle with pennies can work and takes a good deal of your time at first, but can get them to stop. A really social dog can be so hard and JR's are soooooo busy they need something to do, distractions while barking are a great way to start. Good luck sweetie, this is a tuff one!

Well, we could be neighbors! We also have a crabman that lives on the corner. Our dogs are former 'country' dogs and haven't quite got the hang of 'no bark'. To me, it's not excessive but, like you, I've had him yell clear across the street at my fur-kids! I think every neighborhood has one. LOL!

Oh dear, what a horrid neighbour! My Bertie's (Jack Russell) nickname is Bertram Butterbean Barker, as he is a little so and so in the garden, and I have to tell him to stop all the time, but they have to bark sometimes! Susie x

Love your new "furchild"! I also have a yapper! He's a Rat Terrier and when he hears or sees some one walking on "his" road he goes nuts and I can not stop him short of shooting him!
Find a chew toy and put your neighbors face on it! LOL!

Oh my gosh Deb all this time I thought Sweet Pea was a smooth coat but in these pics she looks like a rough coat or at least a broken coat! If so are you hand stripping her? Our little girl is a rough coat and there is no one in town that hand strips so I have been working VERY slowly at doing it myself. Sweet Pea looks great, you can tell she has a wonderful bloodline. Grrr, nasty neighbor! Can you get an anti-talk collar for him because it sounds like HE'S the one that needs it. Maybe send him some ear plugs. ;)

Please kiss Sweet Pea for me and keep her away from that mean man next door! She clearly doesn't like him ;) Can't say I blame her.

Neighbors that don't like dogs can be a pain in the neck, I use to have one. Sweet Pea looks so cute, how can anyone tell him to shut up. I sure do like your cards, you always do a good job on making them.

Love that pumpkin tree! I will have to keep an eye out for those at Trader Joe's. I can't believe Halloween is here already ... it seems like just yeterday I was smearing glitter all over the house trying to make Halloween greeting cards :)

Sweet Pea has some great nicknames. Did you tell your neighbor she is just chatty?

Sweet Pea is such a cutie. With neighbors like him...who needs enemies. ;) Sad, but they do indeed exist everywhere. These are the same people who give you the stare down, when your toddler has a meltdown while shopping!
I would erase it from my memory and have a great week!

Beautiful cards Deb, they sure look nice. Danged old mean neighbor. I hate having grumpy old men so close to me too. Like they say, "There's one in every croud". It's so true I guess.
I believe I'd think of some ways to "fix" that old neighbor, barking would be the last of his worries. ha ha.

Ahhhhh...we have a neighbor like that...we call "bad man". He's the same man that ran me down with his riding lawn mower a couple of years ago. He's a mean old man - telling our dogs to shut up...when he's the one they don't like and they're barking to warn me!!!

Oh well.......

Sweet pea is adorable.....I scream about the dogs next door all the time but it is because they are neglected. They bark ALL DAY long....I have a dog, he barks, but not like that. I am sure you are a great doggie owner.
