Halloween Decor & Swap Goodies

Here is the mantle with a little Halloween decor! I LOVE my vintage pieces. They are hard to find and a "reasonable" price!!!
This old pumpkin I've had for a couple of years and the horn I bought this year.

Vintage noise maker hubby found and I "claimed" it for the collection.

The little witch tin I've had for a few years and I have just a few of the old candles. I so remember these as a kid!

Progress on the door and trim. The trim is up and the door will go up tomorrow and then just 2 more sets to do!!! The list is getting smaller :)

I joined the Fall Basket Swap that Michele at Something Special had and Connie from Living Beautifully was my partner. Connie is a PINK gal and sent me some lovely gifts! Her paper flower with a Wonderful Rose smell is in my bedroom... Grand daughter claimed the paper pumpkin..

Lovely banner that will be in my craft room :) (Hubby said in the spring he will get my craft room done) I think he is tired of having my "projects" all over the family room!!! ( My plan worked!! LOL)

and she also sent this handmade cuff! It's my first one and I feel so pretty with it on!
Thank You Connie!!! Swaps are Swell!!! (http://connie-livingbeautifully.blogspot.com/)
Tomorrow is Bible study, stain the other door and trim and Wednesday I'll be at HQ getting my room ready! No sales last weekend and I'm okay...no "withdrawals" ~ of course it's only Monday!
Warmly,
deb :)

Your mantel looks great, I love the vintage Halloween stuff too, but boy is it hard to find, and if you do it is big bucks to buy it! You must be so proud of those pieces. I am so excited for you to get a craft room, you will love being able to leave it a mess if you want and then just shut the door so no one can see it! :) Mine is a big mess again, but not one person in my house has to see any of it.

Thanks for stopping by and saying "Hi" this morning, your always so faithful to comment to me and that means a lot Deb! It is so neat that your husband likes shopping with you, and doing home projects, your trim and doors are going to look amazing! I sure am enjoying having my hubby home now that he is retired, I know you have a lot of fun with yours, I am hopeful we will get to go on some road trips soon. How is your daughter doing? Did she get over her illness pretty fast? I made sure to pray for her, and your business!

Take care and we will "talk" soon,
Donna Lynn

Oh My Deb! So many memories your halloween decor brought up for me, looks adorable, thanks for sharing. That cuff would be great for a child's tea party gift wouldn't it!

Hey Deb!
Glad your plan worked and you'll be getting your craft room next year! I know you are gonna love that. The precious banner will be perfect in your new craft room. I've been working on my craft corner out in the new outside building. Still have more I want to do out there but as you can imagine I've been having fun with it...nothing fancy, but it's so nice to have everything crafty in one spot now, that's for sure. I'm just looking forward to some time to get out there and make some stuff...that will be fun!

I'm lovin' your Halloween mantel...such cute stuff, and yes, vintage Halloween stuff is hard to find it seems.
Your stained doors and trim look so nice...I know you are glad to get the list of to do's done...keep up the good work and it will all be behind you in no time.
Hope you have a great week sweet friend :)
Big Hugs,
Queenie

Deb, I love your fall decor, but you know I am a pink shabby girl, so I just kind of slip fall and go right to a pink Christmas LOL. Oh my those doors are a lot of work, not fun, but worth it! Fabric on your closet doors would be great! Especially since you can change your mind!

Deb, I'm crazy about your vintage Halloween decorations! You've really got a great collection there. I've wanted to add to mine, but it's all so expensive on Ebay and in the antique stores. I keep hoping to find some at garage sales, but no luck so far. Halloween is right up there with Christmas for me!
Have a great week!
