Cool Carved Pumpkins and New Mantle

A friend of ours carves pumpkins in memory of famous people who have passed on in the current year and these are just a few of them that I'm showing you. Doesn't he do an awesome job!!!

Can't remember who all of them'll just have to guess!

Oops..out of order...cute kailee in her costume...a Winter Snow Princess...

This one is Jimmy Dean!

Took down the Halloween tonight and put up the few Thanksgiving decoration's that I have.
We dropped off Sweet Pea at the vet's tonight too! We let her sleep with us last night and no problem. She cuddled under the covers and that was that! We can't pick her up until Wednesday morning...
Just like the rest of you...I'm totally thinking Christmas...and need to make a list of all the things I must do! The room is all painted and hubby helped me move the stuff and brought in some display pieces. Marking goodies for the sale and trying to catch up on everything I STILL need to get the garage cleared out so the Jeep can be in it...anyone wanna come help?! I have chocolate!!

Great pumpkin art!!!

Your granddaughter has the perfect costume for this colder weather! So cute!

Hope Sweet Pea does well!

The mantle looks pretty...I only have autumn decorations and only one turkey. Makes decorating easy for me.

Have a great night!

You are always ahead of the game when it comes to decorating your mantle, Deb! It looks beautiful, as always. I'm having a hard time thinking of decorating for Thanksgiving, because all I want to do is jump right on to Christmas!

Hey Miss Deb -
WOW your friend does an amazing job carving the pumpkins, I could only remember two...Tony Curtis and Jimmy Dean, I think the lady is June Cleaver from Leave it to Beaver. Miss Kailee looks adorable in her costume.
You mantle looks great...I really love the mirror you have above it.
Have a great day,

Hey Deb,
Love that Give Thanks's so fun seeing how you dress up your mantel for the different seasons :)
Those pumpkins are so neat, i've never seen anything like those...and your little snow princess looks adorable...did you steal some of her candy when she wasn't looking?! Well, Girl, I stole some of my son's candy...well, not really, he's generous and shared it with his ol' mom. But this will be the last year he gets to go trick or we let him go one more year, since he's still not too of the lucky things about being short was fun!
Talk to you again soon,
Big Hugs,
