On to the New Year

Bought this sweet card at HQ last month. Sharing it with you!
Christmas morning...

2ND year that son has found the "pickle" that I hide in the tree! Someone is sad!!

The tree will come down this week and all the decorations too! I'm ready to "clean" the house and maybe do some rearranging.
I hope you had a wonderful Christmas. I'm already thinking Valentine's Day!!! Been going through my "stash" and seeing what's in it to make some Valentines.
I have Kailee for a couple of full days this week as it's winter break at school! Later in the week I'm going to HQ and pack up Christmas and get going for the next sale!
No plans for New Year's Eve!!! Maybe dinner out as we have a gift card for Outback Steak House! I hope you all have a nice New Year's Eve...
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! I'll be back then!
Warmly,
deb :)

Looks like a wonderful time. I still have a celebration for Christmas on Tue. I take down my tree on New Year's and then get onto the organizing. Lots to do this year.

I know some of you girls are ready to move on the day after christmas.. but I cant bear to take every thing down and store it all away for another year quite yet.. The tree will go next weekend, but the rest will stay another week or so after that! unless I get stricken with the "oh my god I cant stand all this stuff around me anymore" crazed feeling.. then it will all come down instantly!
have a happy New Year!
hugs

Have a nice holiday week.
We did not decorate this year but still there are bits and pieces of holiday decor that find themselves strewn about. In no hurry for it all to be over.
I did not know about the Pickle tradition until maybe 20 years ago.

I love your new year card.. the little blue birds are so cute. We have never hid a pickle... maybe next year... what does the person who finds it get? Have fun putting it all away.. I will do that the week after the new year starts.

Hi Deb,
Such a cute photo of your granddaughter!
When we moved to Wisconsin we bought a pickle ornament and hid it in the tree every year. For the past couple of years I couldn't find it and wouldn't you know it I found it yesterday when I was putting all the Christmas stuff away.
Happy New Year!
