Finds & Swap package

We went to 2 estate sales on Saturday and these are the goodies. I keep reminding hubby that we need to save our money for our vacation!!! We didn't spend too much!
The old spelling board is from 1940 and has numbers on the other side. It's already at the antique store for sale. The old maid cards have the sweetest pictures on them and for now are staying with me.

Sweet Pea kept sitting on top of her kennel as she thought "something" was on top of the Hoosier and she was also on top of that. She is SO BUSY!!!

Pearl, from Pearl's Sentimental Journey and I had a little one on one Valentine Swap. Pearl has been having health issue this past year. These 2 photo's are the goodies she made and sent to me. I forgot to take photo's of what I sent her. Of course the chocolate goodies are GONE! I did share!!!

These tags are awesome. Just look at the playing card banner and LOOK at the little journal that has my word "DO". Little matchbox that was altered too. Such fun gifts from the heart!
Thank you, Pearl!!! I hope that this year your health will be better so that you can blog again! We Miss You!
Picked up my check at HQ... was hoping for more...of course... and hope that February will be much better!
Haircut is SHORT!! Yikes!!! It does grow fast! Hubby had "no comment"... good idea... LOL!!
Guess what??!! More snow tomorrow...REALLY, we have ENOUGH SNOW here in Minnesota.
Don't forget to "DO" something fun, creative, nice or ??? for you and one other person!

Hey Deb!

Great scores as usual - I too have never seen a spelling board...very cool...and I love the floral glasses and framed prints, etc! Also, what lovely swap goodies from your friend...she definitely knows your taste and gathered and made such precious things!

Hope you have a good week my friend - keep warm, OK? It's even gonna get super cold (relatively speaking) all the way down here in Houston! Take care!

I've got one of those spelling boards! I got it from my neighbor's yard sale last year. It was her kids when they were little. They must have made them in the 1950s, too, because her kids were born in the early 50s and my sister says she remembers having one when she was little (I don't remember it) and she was born in late 1947. They are neat! I was tickled to get it last year. I'm sure I paid a dollar or less for it.

Hi Deb- I love all the great things you seem to find!! The antique spelling board is a great find.

It has been slow at the Antique Store where I have my booth too though I am thankful sales have at least covered rent plus a little something. Looking forward to spring when things generally start picking up. No one wants to shop in the snow I guess when we are expecting more here in Colorado too.

be blessed
