More Easter Decor and Fun Fact

The Easter Egg Roll held at the White House is a tradition spanned more than 130 years ago. I found these at an estate sale. I have a pink one also. More information at Just thought you might like to read about it.
These are some of my Chick collection...
A little vignette on the kitchen counter...

Just craving them since the vacation...

Not much going on. Will finish up my Easter cards tomorrow and get them in the mail. Mailed out a couple of swap packages and have a couple more to do.

Sun has been out and the snow is melting and I Saw my TULIPS peeking out of the ground! A hopeful sign!

Talk to you later..

Oh Deb, your little chicks are so adorable! I love the White House egg..I had never seen one before, thanks for posting it.

I have decorated for Easter but I want to paint an old bookcase white so that the decor will stand out more. Right now it's a dark cherry and I'm trying to get out of that formal!

Deb, I think your right the economy is no help, and our gas prices are also a big factor... our regular unleaded is $4.00 a gallon ouch! But too I am wondering about the handmade treasures, maybe you are right about that. That is what I have noticed thank you for your input and taking the time to leave a comment. I am leaning a lot from all the gals that have left a comment. And Deb the Egg is sure a unique find, I would love to see the Pink one too. oxox, Diane

That's so true - cupcakes DO fix everything, at least while they last, but when someone eats the last one? Then the trouble begins! That White House egg is so cool.

I LOVE the vintage Easter cards on your banner. I love anything vintage. I guess I should get into Easter mode too....but it's cold, we still have snow, and all the gray days we're having just don't make me feel like spring. I think I'll make Easter cards this afternoon....maybe that will help. I didn't know anything about the Whitehouse eggs...thanks for sharing.
