My Sunny Yellow Kitchen

Just my little garden fairy :)

Sorry I didn't take more before pictures...the new color is called "Milkyway Galaxy" from Behr and it's the primer and paint all in one paint! Flat finish.

This is before also and it's a bad is poor/then too bright... can't tell the difference...I did put up different plates in pretty colors. This wall is now the pretty yellow too.

One side of the little galley kitchen and this is what you see when you walk into my home from the front door...Sure don't like this floor plan..

The other side of the galley kitchen and the window faces the golf course. The yellow isn't as pretty in these pictures as it is on the walls...none of these photos are very good..sorry..between the cloudy days and the angle of the kitchen...just doesn't work for photos.'s pretty!
The weather isn't cooperating for a garage's looking like Saturday may be the better day to have I still have so much to price...

Went and had my hair cut and colored today..bye-bye gray hair :) I'm short and sassy for summer :) LOL!!!

That's all for now!

Love your Deb signs. How fun to find your name. Your kitchen valance is cute too. Is that made from a vintage tablecloth?

I had my hair cut today, too! :) No color this time. I only do that every 8-9 weeks and it's only been 6.

Now...I need a self-help group for Tag Sale Shopping Addicts. You start one and I'll be your FIRST MEMBER! OK?

Well I will just have to believe you LOL! Even with fancy big girl camera there is rooms in the house that just do not have enough light. I', guessing that primer and paint in one works. I have heard of it, but it sounded to good to be true. Did you just need one coat?

I knew you'd love your new sunny yellow looks so pretty! I've never regretted painting my kitchen and living room yellow...I don't think I ever want it a different color! Everything goes with yellow it seems and floral plates sure look pretty against it or for a change blue and white ones :) You just can't go wrong with yellow walls. You did a great job! Hope your weather holds out for your garage sale...good luck with that.
Big hugs,

Yellow is such a happy color and I'm sure it will make the drudgery of cooking and cleaning up so much more fun ;+) We have a guest room that is painted yellow and everyone loves it.
Somehow I missed your last 2 the chair do-over and your bridal bush is beautiful! I have a bridal wreath bush which is a little different.
My planter arrived and I love it. I posted a picture this morning...

Did you know that they say choosing a yellow colour is one of the hardest things to do! It's always too bright...or vibrant...but you've chosen the perfect buttery tone here! I love it!
It harmonizes with your cupboards perfectly!

well done!

It has been a long time since I stopped by your Blog. I like your kitchen and would love to have a kitchen window. I have a question. I have the exact same cabinets as you do and they have not held up well over the years. Yours look great, what do you use to keep them looking great? Thanks for your help.
