STINKIN H-O-T, More Books & Kitchen Pics

My roses and irises are blooming. The roses are just starting to open. Last year the buds turned brown and they didn't open...

I KNOW that you are tired of seeing my Sunny Yellow Kitchen..the sun was just right on Saturday so I HAD to take photos! No More, I Promise!

It's so pretty!

It almost made it to 100 degrees today! STINK IN HOT!!! Didn't stop me from going to the book sale today and found a few more books!

Yes...a couple more of the vintage "greeting cards" as the guy at check out told me. The "Victorians" gave these little books before greeting cards were made. That was something that I didn't know!

Awesome images. These are "well" loved books. I'm sure I'll go to the sale again :)

Tomorrow I'm helping my friend with her housecleaning job and again on Thursday! It will make up for the very poor sales from How Quaint. Hoping this month will be Much Better!

The garage sales were okay and today I went with a Jeep load of things to a place where folks can go and pick up furniture, etc., if they have lost their things from a fire, floods, etc.

Kailee had a softball game tonight and "jammed" her thumb :( I was thinking it was way too HOT to play...showing my age!

Wow, it sure is hot there. Your kitchen looks so bright and happy. I haven't been blogging much ... I think the last time I visited your blog you were still buried in snow! Hope your sales pick up.

hi Deb, your kitchen is sweet and sunny! Ive been toying with the idea of painting my living room, it seems sooooo dark in here sometimes. some paint and some slipcovers would probably make a big difference!
have a great day!

Wow that IS hot. It's been hot here in Florida, but not quite that hot. I love your cheery kitchen.

I like the looks of your kitchen, very cute. I always like it when you show your vintage cards. Hope it is not too hot for you when you help your friend.

Love your Sunny Yellow kitchen, mind needs painting too:)

I always buy books and cards! Sounds like it is a great sale, wish I lived closer! I could go shopping with you AND buy some stuff at the HQ sale!

That was nice to donate items to be used by someone in need! When my Sister's house flooded, we got so many things donated! She filled the house and then some... ALL donated! It meant a lot to us as I am sure those receiving your items will really appreciate!

Have a blessed evening, HUGS!

I love seeing all the little vintage touches in your kitchen (the vintage fabric curtain!). Sure hope you have a/c! Here in Oregon I keep waiting for the heater to come on ... 56 degrees. :-(

I always feel bad when those babies have to play ports in this heat!! Your kitchen is darling, can't believe the dogs didn't horn their way into the pictures! Mom said it was hot and where there is heat there is storms in Minnesota. Take some ibuprofen B4 you clean!

I love your yellow kitchen. Mine is yellow and red. I also like vintage cards. I found some at a yard sale a while back and I just had to get them. They were only from the late 50's though, but there were a couple boxes of them. I think I am actually going to use some of them. I just love the graphics they have on them.
