Altered Hanky Box & Finds

Yesterday was "craft" day with Jeanne. Here is my altered hankie box. Sorry that I don't have photos of J's as hers are lovely. I made another one and it didn't turn out as "nice" as this one.

Just some recent finds...a complete BINGO game...

Sweet blue and white Pyrex bowls....

Little Reindeer planter :)
Had a nice day at the State Fair and will share about that later.

Tomorrow working at a occasional shop. Not sure about the rest of the weekend. Son's birthday is next Tuesday. He will be 32! WOW...I am getting "old"!

Happy Weekend and Treasure Hunting!

Hey Sweety!
Thanks for being honest about my text color...I work off two computers, one our HP and my ipad...and they both showed the color you helped me decide..I had wondered how it was reading.

LOVE your hankie box...I have some I have been using but am thinking of doing just what you did..purdifying them. And...I am in lust over those pyrex dishes...haven't seen that color..I use a lot of cobalt in my kitchen...those are so unique don't know that I have ever seen in quit that blue!

Have a great day!

I must be thinking about our Christmas Open House already because that little reindeer planter just called out to me!!! Of course, the Pyrex yelled out pretty loud, too!!!

Love the hanky box! Just saw one similar to that at one of the antique stores near me, last week. Might have to go back for that.

Love that box Deb :D too cute!
I'm locking myself in my craft room this weekend (IRENE)... one of my bus drivers saw my altered matchbox and said she'd like to have 15 decorated for Christmas...
I haven't even started my cards yet! I need to insure my fingertips ~ I am hot-glue-gun deficient...can't imagine doing 15 of those things without having scar tissue :D

Hi Deb,
I think your hanky box is lovely. Looks like it was a fun project.
I'm typically not a blue and white gal but I am really liking those blue and white pyrex bowls! And the vintage reindeer planter is too cute. I know it sounds crazy but before long we will all be posting our Christmas stuff!!

I love you Pyrex bowls! I kind of have a collection of those, too, but not that pattern. I have a give a way over on my blog, if anyone is interested in coming over and entering.

That hankie box is so pretty. You probably already know this but the next four months has a holiday in them. Have a nice weekend.

Hello dear friend!
I have the gold pyrex bowls...been using them since college. Scary that they are "collectables" now.

Your hankie box is too cute.

Have a wonderful weekend.

Hi Deb...

I love your altered hanky box. What a cute idea.

Hope you are enjoying this fabulous weather we've been having. So much more pleasant that those super hot and humid days we had a few weeks ago.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend!!
