Embellished this faux wreath with the "sage" color that I'm using this Christmas. This will go on the front door.
I made cranberry relish/sauce yesterday and after it was "cooked", I decided that I wanted blend it to make it "smooth" sauce...so into the blender it when, HOT from the stove...OOPS..Note to Self...BAD IDEA!!! The top flew off and sauce landed on ME, the counter, the wall, the cabinet, a couple of plants, the rug, some nick-knacks and burned my wrist, thankfully not my "B" ... Just in case you didn't know this will happen if you try it! Otherwise all went very well for dinner.
Things I've been making ...

Sweet Pea decided to "escape" Thursday morning...say 3 AM when hubby let her out...that wasn't fun! THEN, after dinner later that day, she escaped again from the chain-link back yard. She is a DIGGER... and had to drive around the neighborhood to find her! Thankfully some teens had her and were walking around to find us! SO, little "Missy" is now wearing a collar with ID tag which she HATES! After I put in on her, she has been ignoring me. Her tail is between her legs and she even looks "MAD" at me! I should have hubby put it on her!
Tomorrow I'll be decorating the tree and mantle! Been digging in the Christmas totes to gather all the white and silver items. It will be a very different look for me!
I know, THREE posts in one evening!
Have a "few" things to do between now and next weekend!
It's that time of year!
Warmly,
deb :)

What a mess...but thanks for the heads up! Sounds like something I would do...but I'm blond and I know you're not! Love the sweet ornies you're making! You've been busy! ♥

Oh my goodness Deb.. so sorry about your kitchen mishap and that you burnt yourself.. I still have to laugh a bit though over the fact that the first thing you did after your little mishap was to grab your camera to take a picture of your cranberry mess to share here on your blog. I guess those photo opportunities are always at the top of a die hard bloggers mind no matter what the circumstances are :)
Glad to hear the rest of your Thanks giving turned out better.
Take care..
Kim
Love your wreath. So elegant! Can't wait to see what else you do.
I hope you weren't burndt badly. What a mess. Did it stain anything. I wouldn't have known that would happen.
Scary when the doggie takes off. Happened to us once with our Piper and we were scared to death. The little dog won't go away unless someone else is outside and she thinks they need to pet her.
I hope the rest of your week-end goes well and you get alot accomplished.
Oh my goodness, I am happy you didn't get hurt! I'll put that on my list of things to NOT do:) Sweet Pea will love you again really soon, I am sure of that! Have a blessed day dear Deb, I have gotta get up in the attic and start digging too! HUGS!
oh my that does look like a mess, lol! Glad no one was hurt :)
I'm looking forward to starting my Christmas decorating today.
hugs, Linda
Everything looks so nice. Sweet Pea is funny...dogs do have emotions.
I love your very cute tags. And what a beautiful wreath. My children are bringing all the Christmas stuff out. So I guess we will be decorating too :-)

Hi Deb,
Painting the kitchen with cranberries sounds like something I would do, thanks for the warning.
Sweet Pea does look annoyed, she'll get over it, I'm sure.
enJOY a Merry evening,
Kimberly
