May God Richly Bless Us All in the New Year.

Almost forgot to post about a recent win from Laurie. She makes these darling tags and some sweet felt birdies. These are the tag I won and a tiny little rose booklet! Thank you, Laurie!
May the New Year bring us the Love of Family and Friends, a warm home, enough food to be satisfied, and good health to keep us helping others. Let's remember to be Thankful for what we already have!

Happy New Year!

Chocolate, Tote and ATC..oh my!

I "FOUND" a new Chocolate shop! It's Wonderful! It's called "Droolin' Moose" and I'm loving this place! Lot's of great chocolate! Nice prices and SAMPLES!!! Plus the nicest gals that own it! For more information go to: !!!

A "confession": I bought candy for gifts, and ATE them! I went back and just bought some malted milk balls just for me! It's "dangerous" there! I've gained 4 lbs in the past 5 weeks. HELP!

I sent a few buttons and lace to Bonnie earlier this year. She in return made this AWESOME tote for ME! It's just "me"! This is the front...

This is the back and it even has a zipper pouch inside to hold my $$$$. It's roomy to hold LOTS of stuff/treasures!

Bonnie also sent this tea towel and these note cards. THANK YOU SO MUCH BONNIE!! It is a wonderful gift that will be well used when I'm " digging for treasures"!!!

I also did a ATC swap with Kimberly and this is the one she sent me. Goes perfectly with my Christmas colors! Thank you Kimberly!
It's almost CHRISTMAS!!! I'm almost ready. Just need to wrap packages that go under the tree and mail my Christmas cards.

I'm working at Auntie M's on Sunday and the other shop on Monday.

Got my haircut today. With natural curl, sometimes she like to cut it SHORTER than I like...

Hubby isn't feeling the Christmas spirit....which means we may not go to his side for Christmas Eve like we have done for 21 years...he wants to stay home.

Christmas morning I have "brunch" here with my kids, their dates and Kailee. We have mimosa and egg bake! After we open packages, we go to Mom's for "lunch" and more gift opening. Then we come home, I put my jammies on and relax! SO...what do you do??

Jesus Is The Reason for The Season!

May you all have a Wonderful Christmas!

Weekend Finds, Christmas Matchbox Swap

I have been pretty good about NOT going to estate sales as much as I would LOVE to! Did make it to a couple this weekend and found these Christmas Plates! I've been looking for something simple and found these. A set for 8 for $10.00, still in their boxes! They are called "White Christmas" by Sango. I'm Happy!

It was a good "chick" sale...lot's of new items from nice stores. The frog is a Lenox!

Fun vintage too :) I'm already thinking Valentines and Easter... ( I know, crazy!)

The linen is old and never used and a box of fun sewing things.

This "Beauty" is Lovely! Love the shape, the animal head and feet! It's a little tough on the top. Hubby may "fix" it...I'm okay as is and think it will look nice in the living room!

Pearl, from Pearl's Sentimental Journey and I did a one on one Christmas Matchbox swap and she included a few extras! Isn't the Santa sign sweet :) She the sweet Santa's "list"! She even made the little pencil from a match stick!

Here is the Birdie matchbox she made in green to match my Christmas colors:) She love to make mini ones too and had it filled with fun paper goodies to use for projects!

"JOY" is my favorite word and she include some "joyful" treasures!

More treasures...THANK YOU, dear Pearl! Take good care of yourself!

I finished my Christmas cards today and now just need to address them and put them in the mail!
I had my "duty" day at Auntie M's on Saturday and it was busy :) My shift was 12 to closing so I could go to an estate sale!

WOW, Christmas is just around the corner...are you ready??!!

EnJOY this Christmas Season!

Tag Swap & Gingerbread House

Sue at It's A Very Cherry World had a Christmas Tag swap and Susie from Little Susie Home Maker was my partner. She made the tag with a pit bull on it and my favorite word, JOY. It's so sweet! She also made the little red bird :) Also very sweet!

and....sent me a jar of Lindt chocolate candies, which were consumed right away! Thank You, Susie for being my partner! All the treasures are so appreciated!

Granddaughter made her annual Gingerbread House today and it stayed together!! Here is the finished project!

I'm almost finished with my Christmas cards. Have gifts to send out and the family ones to wrap and put under the tree! How are your plans coming???

Off to catch up and see what you all have been doing!

Decor on top of bookcase by fireplace

Night time and much prettier than daylight!

THANK YOU so much for all your nice comments about the hankie mantle! It was so much fun to finally do it. I'm liking the softer colors of Christmas this year!

Pretty poinsettia leaves...
