CHANGE

After some "thinking" I've decided on my word for 2012...

it's CHANGE

I have "changes" that need to be made "within" myself, "within" my home and maybe other places or areas.

I'm starting with the CHANGE from a TV room in the first photo into my CRAFT ROOM!! I know...it's a shocker! Hubby isn't real happy about it...however I've been waiting for 7 years for a craft room to be made in the lower level...so the living room now has the TV in it...more on that later...One Change leads to other Changes!!! FYI!

I've given myself a budget of $100.00 or less. Trying to use what I already have and make due with what I can make. It's so exciting!!! It is also leading to cleaning, sorting, giving to thrift store or charity and moving stuff around! If anyone is willing to "help" just come on over! I'll have tea and treats! LOL!
We stayed home for New Year's Eve and had lobster tails, baked sweet potato fries and cheesecake! YUM!!! Didn't see the New Year in...sleeping!

Today we went to Antiques Minnesota and "Changed" around the booth. Cleaned and moved some display pieces. Looks nice. I forgot the camera.

Hmmmm ~ how do you "change" a forgetful mind!

Warmly,

deb :)

Happy New Year, Deb!!! I love your word, "change". It's a great word and I think you are going to move mountains with it. I'm so psyched about your new craft room. I want one so bad but unfortunately a child will have to move out for that dream to become a reality and I don't see that happening any time soon. My word for 2012 is "exploration". I plan on exploring lots of new things and learning lots along the way. Can't wait to see how your room turns out!!

Love it, change is good and I'm on the same roll. Moving my sewing room upstairs where there is more room. Hope to post pictures as it is done. Love the $100.00 budget. Gotta work with what I have too.

That's awesome Deb that you've taken the steps you needed to in order to get the craft room you've been dreaming about for so long. You'll have so much fun putting your new space together and I know you'll love it. I look forward to seeing pictures of it when you've gotten it all put together.

Happy New Year!!!

I love the idea of change - congrats on our craft room. I did that a few years ago and have never looked back. It is now a must.

I think that's a wonderful word ~ change for 2012. That's my word too. Time to clear out the stuff I don't use. I love your idea and I'm sure hubby will be fine with the changes ;-)

I think CHANGE covers so much and I love it because I have much that needs to be changed:) I have some habits that need to be changed, exercise or should I say lack of it is the biggest for me!

Have a blessed day and a happy and healthy new year! HUGS!

That's sounds great Deb! Wish I had my own craft room too! My dear mother-in-love passed away 2 days after Christmas, and she was a crafter of all sorts still at 91!! I have a lot of her things now, and have a lot of organizing to do.
Happy, wonderful, New Year to you and your family. It's been a pleasure getting to know you!

Hugs,
Debbie

Change is a great word for the year. I haven't picked on yet, but I will soon. You're gonna love your craft room. Here in the new house, I have a much larger craft room than I did in the other house and am loving it. Can't wait to see yours!

I forget my camera all the time and I get so mad at my self.

Happy New Year!

Love the look of the craft room! You stopped by Kitschy Vintage and asked about my friend from Minnesota. She lives up by White Bear Lake -- you're in Shakopee, aren't you? I'm going to send her a link to GSG and you two might be able to connect. Where's your booth?
