Carol, gave a recent post about making/altering bottles with water slide decals and I bought
some decals from her and "made" some tonight. " Before "
~~~ AFTER ~~~Easy, peasy! Mine aren't as "fancy" as Carol's. Thanks for sharing your ideas, Carol! If you haven't been to Carol's blog...you are missing some great ideas! She shares A LOT! I'm going to see if they will sell at the shops, "crossing fingers" !!!
Sweet Pea this morning. She continues to bring us much Joy and Smiles. (Hubby's legs)
Cute postcard from my computer file.I'm sure you have heard that the weather in Minnesota is setting records from 100 years ago. It is totally like early summer instead of the end of winter. It doesn't feel like March at all! I want to start working in the yard. Can't!!! It still could "snow" and the ground isn't ready.
Worked today at the Vintage Cottage and Laurel from Chipping with Charm visited the store and recognized me! Laurel also shares many great ideas on her blog.
Tomorrow I'm working a duty day for another person. He needed to trade because of a bad ankle. No estate sales for me :( Hubby is going to one with LOTS of Toys! Maybe I'll go Sunday when it's discount day.
Have a Great Weekend. I hope you find a treasure or two!
Warmly,
deb
Deb
So pretty..I need some of those. I have a bottle and jar collection in my bathroom. Where did you get the decals?
Pretty postcards and bottles with the labels you created.
Love the bottles. I hope you are sending a list with your husband.
Thank you for wishing me a Happy Easter in French. :)
I so love the postcards.
Hi Deb- I was just blog hopping and came across your blog. Love it! I went back and read several of your older posts, too. Glad I found you- I am your newest follower and I WILL be back- (promise-not a threat!;>) Blessings- Diana
Bottles with decorative labels and doodads are so cute----fast and easier than some projects. Afraid the buds and blooms in Mn are just going to peek thru no matter what!
Your bottles look wonderful, Deb...great project! This weather has been crazy...I've been in capris and sandals all week!
Great idea with the bottles...I'll have to give it a try. I did start to uncover the flower garden, the stuff is already coming up! I'm not sure what to do.
Oh my goodness, those don't even look like the same bottles! They turned out beautifully, but my favorite thing is that shot of Sweet Pea!
I decorated with decals as well- after seeing them on Carol's blog :) Your bottles turned out nice! We are getting abnormal hot weather here in Canada- as well. I already started tidying up the garden. Have a great rest of the week!
