"Tweaked the Living Room" & winner

I can't find the "before" picture that showed the ICART print over the sofa. Here is the "after" with the cool old wood pieces and old frame on the print. Needed a little change in the living room.

Found this little flower yesterday. Notice the dandelion weed in the photo too. UGH!

Joyce sent this to me. She makes lovely paper treasures. Thank you, Joyce! I want to be playing with the Easter Bunny.

I had a huge response for the giveaway and Thank You for being my "friend"! The little package will be going to: Linda http://lindaloveschocolate.blogspot.com at Chocolate, One Of My Many Addictions! Linda, I need your addy.

Last night while watching a TV with Sweet Pea on my lap, I noticed a small, tiny black dot and then it moved...it was a tiny Deer Tick! Eeeeeek...I HATE TICKS...I HATE DEER TICKS, MORE! So thankful that it hadn't latched on her and now she has a "natural" repellent on her coat. Jackson Brown too! It's way too early for ticks...

Thank you all also for the sweet comments about my cards. It is good therapy!

Have a great week.

Warmly,

deb

Deb, congrats to your winner!
I just heard a news report that we are all going to have a terrible bug season since it got warm so early. Keep those babies protected all summer!

Love the new look, Congrats to the lucky winner! Everything is happening earlier this year, even ticks:( Glad you found it! Have a blessed evening, HUGS!

Like your picture over the sofa, Deb. It looks great. It was in our paper the other day that they think this is going to be the worst season for deer ticks ever. The worst part is that they carry Lyme's Disease-so watch your babies carefully that they don't carry them in to you. UGH!!! xo Diana

Always fun to make changes...looks wonderful! I have spotted dandelions here already, too, and I'll be on the lookout for those nasty ticks!

Love the living room's new look Deb! Everything is blooming so early, but I never even thought that the bugs would be making an early appearance too, but now that I think of it, I saw the first mosquito about three weeks ago. Ugh!

I like the changes. I love the corbells.....isn't that what they are called. I am wanting to change things up too.
Congrats to the winner.
What do you use on your dogs. Be careful with those ticks. MY daughters in laws live in the Hamptons and so many of them have had Lyme's Disease.
I will be treating my babies today.....((((((HUGS)))))

Oh, how this HEAT WAVE has messed up our flowers ... oy! What should be blooming next week, they are gone. Already mowing the yard ...

I love the changes in your living room. And the crocus is so pretty! I would be unhappy about the tick, so why is it a natural repellent now? Don't know a lot about ticks.
Blessings,
Susie

Hi Deb, love the setting in your living room. Your sofa print is wonderful. I have always loved that one.
Beautiful little flower too with a pretty burst of color coming out of the ground.
I hate ticks too. When I lived in the country in Ohio, I got a tick right on the top of my head once. It was not a deer tick thankfully but it did make me very sick. I had a fever and felt like I had the flu. Went to the doctor and took the tick that bit me so he could see it. I was put on an antibiotic and it took about 2 weeks to feel better. The thought of it in my hair on the top of ny head still gives me the creeps. Aghhhhhhhhhh.
So glad you found it on your sweet pea before it attached. I think I got mine when planting flowers in the spring under a tree.

Thank you for stopping by and entering my giveaway.
Good Luck.
