Thursday's Finds & Fence

Grand girl and I stopped at an estate sale today and found some little treasures. The little critters are for our fairy gardens as the plants didn't "grow".

Our neighbor's old fence...Sweet Pea has escaped too many times into their yard as their fence was in need of repair. They have a swimming pool and Sweet Pea did fall into it. Our neighbor's are very nice! They decided to replace it with...

this beautiful white fence!!! Of course we need to take care of the weeds and brush now that we look at this fence. Sure wish we had the money to put this fence around our yard. We have a chain link fence.

My hydrangea plant is doing well this year! Love it! With all the rain and storms this week we did have a little water in the well room and a few small branches down. Power went out for an hour or so on Tuesday night. The folks "up north" had it bad! Cooler and wonderful day today!

Working tomorrow at The Vintage Cottage in Carver if anyone wants to visit :)

Happy Treasures hunting this weekend!

Warmly,

deb :)

I feel horrible for those people in Duluth. We have been through there so many times on our UP vacations. Such a shame. This year we are headed to Lake Michigan. Love your finds and glad sweet pea is safe...smiles..Renee

Very nice fence! I can't believe your Jacks stay in a chain link fence. My Noodle could jump that easily...and he would too! Love the vintage patterns!

You found some great treasures Deb! Love the little minis. the fawn is darling. I want to make a miniature garden too.

the fence is so pretty! I wish I could get one like that for our yard. We are going to replace just one small section with one like that. My neighbors yard is horrible. they only mow when the grass is a foot tall. So many weeds too. Their fence is 25 yrs old, and is falling down. We have a chain link fence that is holding it up. lol Enjoy your weekend!

Hugs,
Deb

There was a huge box of sewing patterns yesterday at St. Vincent de Paul. Not in the greatest condition but I am hoping to go back today to sift through them again and see if I can pick me up some more. I just adore those patterns(even though I don't sew)..what can I say, I'm a collector..lol. blessings.

Great finds. Your neighbors are really nice. They change their fence at your request and what a fence it is. They sure have a lot of money. lol
