WELCOME to my humble little craft room and Grand Girls too!!! She made the sign just for the party.

When you first walk into my studio this is what you see. On the right side are 2 closets that hubby uses, for now!

It's been fun to finally have my own room. Of course it's still a work in progress. My favorite projects are card making, tags, swap gifts and altered things! Because of blog land I've learned so much and have gathered many ideas.

Paper, suitcases loaded with stamping supplies. Old sewing drawers with seam binding, lace and such.

Some of my stamps and my "inspiration" board. Lace tablecloths hid storage drawers!

My FREE corner hutch that may get painted white this year. I have a nice big window to lookout when I create. I stand when I create! Does anyone else??!

Oops. the fan got into the photo...old needle hook rug and lots of little stuff on my work table to help me "create".

On top of the white birdhouse is my dad's OLD leather pilot hat! He made an single sitter airplane when I was in grade school. He passed away 15 years ago. Fun gifts, treasures and goodies from blogging friends and swaps. Some of the themed gifts come out on that holiday.

The shelf over the window that hubby made for me!!! That's the 5 cent tour! Thank you for stopping by.

Please visit Karen at My Desert Cottage to see other Where Bloggers Create studios. Thank you Karen for hosting this event. I'm so HAPPY that I could finally join in the fun!

I almost didn't make this post. I was in the ER yesterday and today with Kidney stone issues. I have one that hasn't passed...hoping and praying it will so that I don't need surgery. I'm on GOOD pain meds. Prayers appreciate...Thank you!

I stand at my kitchen island to create. I have a craft workshop attached to the garage...just a couple of steps from the back door, but my crafting stuff has gradually moved into the kitchen. The island has drawers and cupboards on one side just for my junk! We craft where we are the most comfortable I guess...tho' I make a mess most days. Thanks for the fun tour! =D

Hi Deb,
I really love how your room turned out. You are so like me with your fun and beautiful eye candy all over your room. What a sweet place for you and your grand to share and create. Soooo happy you now have a room of your own.

I just prayed for you. I have passed a few stones a few years back and KNOW that pain.

Big hugs and love!

I love it! Of course I got to see your room in real life. Now I'm noticing more than I did then, you have such cool things all over your house. Yes, I stand a lot to create so you are not alone. I'm glad you made it tonight and I hope that thing is gone soon!

Michaele said...

Deb, I've been thinking that standing as I craft would be a great option for me- I just need to think up or discover a quick (and safe) fix to raise my table. I often have music playing as I work, which means yes, I'm fanny-dancing on the stool or in a chair. It would be great to boogie around the room instead!

I hope you feel better soon- thank you for sharing your beautiful space!

Lovely, Deb! Love all the tabletop space you have to create. Great idea to use tablecloths as a table skirt. I wish I had all your shelf space! I'd love to take a look through all your paper and card making supplies. I'm almost as bad with scrapbook paper as I am with fabric! Love that you have a window. That's the only thing I would wish for in mine, but I'm just so glad I finally have a room. Thanks so much for the tour!

Saying a prayer for you, Deb, and hoping the kidney stone passes on its own, too. What about the laser where they essentially break the stone up so it passes-is that an option for you?

Love your space and REALLY love your Dad's old hat. How sweet is that- xo Diana
