Shutter Shelf, Hearts & Valentines

Just a couple of hearts around the house. Bought the heart rock this summer at a sale.

My collection of "Black American" valentines has grown!

After moving the furniture around a couple weeks ago and with the TV in a new spot, I made a shelf with a small shutter and it looks pretty good over the TV. The sofa was in this place before the rearranging happened. I painted the edge the same "sea salt" green that the other walls are painted to make it pop. Love the old and chippy brackets.

"Worked" at the Vintage Cottage yesterday. Folks were buying furniture this month. Just never know what they will buy each month.

I forgot to say "Thank You" for all the kind comments about the new color in the living room. Where are my manners?!!

Happy Weekend! Guess the Bitter Cold weather is coming this week. BRRRR!!!
Keep Warm,
Deb  :)

Cute hearts. How cool is that heart shaped rock. What a geat find. Hearts must be the "It" thing today as I just posted about one too..

Hope you're ready for that arctic air that's coming in. The wind is howling here already. Stay warm and enjoy your weekend!!

Hi Deb,
I really like your shutter shelf and how you have accessorized it. The new living room color is very pretty. I have my Sherwin Williams color stack in front of me and am going to start looking for a color for my bedroom! Wish me luck!

Your shutter shelf is a great idea. We didn't have a fireplace mantle in our new house so we put up brackets and a shelf over the top of what was there and it looks ok. I love the shabby cottage style, because "make-do" can be "so-right"!

Love your valentine collection!! Your shelf looks really good. I had a heart shaped rock I found in our yard and now I can't find it!! It was smaller than yours....I need to go looking.
Keep warm.

Your new shelf is lovely . . . I need to get my mind around Valentine's Day. If not, it's going to seek up and bit me.
Thank you for the inspiration.
Have a wonderful day.

Hello Deb,
Thanks for stopping by to see me...beautiful spirits love the same gospel
I read the back posts through Christmas...LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the SEA SALT color paint...I was going to ask if it had a blue hue but then I read on where you talked about sea-salt green. You can't always tell how true the color is on line. I love most shades of, green, and lavendar and red being my favorite colors...lavendar-the bedroom...a green, red, and a mustard like color in the kitchen and now I want to do the living room with the kitchen except greens and reds...not christmas green but I like your sea salt.
They say if your living room window is not center you can add more curtain to make the window look easy solve
love the valentines you have collected and the ones you made.
hugs and prayers

Hi Deb...
It makes it very interesting doesn't it to move furniture around...feels like a new place. I enjoy doing that too.

Everything looks great! I saw your collection of Valentine's boxes...aren't they pretty?... and you are setting up for Valentine's Day. I don't do that...but enjoy looking at what others do.

Hope you have been well...
hope you have great sales this month.

Come by and visit..

Those "Black American" valentine's are amazing. I don't think I have seen any. They must be real old. Just great. I'll be keeping my eye for some more for you, but probably not a lot of those out here in California...not sure. Your shutter shelf is so cute!! You must love being in your "new" room!
