Winter Blues...

This sweet angel was a gift from MaryElla....I sure miss her :(   I am thankful that I have a few treasures from her.

This week it has been too COLD for me....don't like it...I just want to stay inside, wrapped up in a soft and cozy blanket, but NO, that isn't how it works!

Tomorrow daughter decided it's time to LOOK and TRY on Wedding Dresses! That will be FUN and lift my spirits :) I'll take some photos and show them to you!

Haven't been to sales for awhile. Trying very hard to sell the stuff that is packed away here! Plus, with this bitter cold I Am NOT going to stand outside and wait to get into an estate sale.

Have a nice weekend and KEEP WARM!
Warmly,
deb

Have a wonderful time with your daughter looking at wedding dresses. I agree about the cold. I love winter, but these single digit temperatures are the pits.

What a beautiful angel~ and such fond memories of a dear friend. Sorry about your cold weather, I was so tempted to hit an Estate Sale today, but I too think I need to get rid of what I already have! Have a fun weekend~

That angel is so sweet! I know it has good memories! I'm all about staying under a blanket and reading today! Enjoy wedding dress shopping, it made me cry (in a good way) to see my baby girl in a wedding dress. Before blogging but I took pictures!!
hugs, Linda

The cold snap here has finally broken but now it is pouring down rain! Very typical for Oregon though so I can't really complain. Have a fun weekend!

Hey Deb - I just wanted to check in and say hey!
Sister,I believe you are having shopping withdrawals and the cold weather in Minn. just compounds it!!
A little retail therapy will cheer you right up! Tomorrow when you and daughter go out just treat yourself to a small little treasure!
Think of you often.
Fondly, L

I didn't realize how many things I had that my cousin had given me and I am so glad that I have them now.
Weddins are so much fun to plan. That should help your spirits.
It's cold and snowy here.....not going to sales tie here either. Have a good week-end.

I was debating doing a post with a similar title! lol
I think a lot of Minnesotan's must be in the same boat right now. It's just too cold and grey outside to feel very upbeat.
Wedding dress shopping will be lots of fun though! :)
Let us know how it goes!

Just thinking of going 'junking' warms me up in January. Looking at everyone's thrifting blogs helps me get through Winter. Happy dress shoppping.

I'm having the blues here too Deb! What a sweet angel from your dear friend. It's been frigid here too, and by midweek it is supposed to be 50! Yippie!! I miss going to the sales too, but I really need to clean out the clutter I already have. LOL I just can't get motivated to put the stuff on e-bay. Stay warm.

Hugs,
Debbie
