More "Ideas" & Recent Finds

This is the dinning room which i would LOVE to have. It has a beautiful built in buffet! The table "cloth" is wallpaper, it's the white one under the runner. Yellow and gray are the "colors"!
Love the gate on the wall!
Another view. Notice all the little extras on the table. The bird cloches are very sweet. Birds are also in this theme.
Here are my few finds. The 2 linens are from the "Gathering" and today I made a pillow and valance with them and I'll show you them next time. The chintz creamer and sugar from the thrift store and the rest from an estate sale.

As you heard, it SNOWED today. REALLY!!! I'm moving! (I wish) It's depressing! Doesn't feel like spring or that my birthday is next week. I sure hope it's warm and sunny on my birthday!

I'm seeing LOTS of estate sales for the weekend!  I hope I don't run out of money! LOL!!! I have a budget and a wedding to keep in mind.

Happy Weekend my blogging friends!

p.s. "HI" to Connie, Marge, Jeanne, who read my blog and don't have their own blogs.

I wanted to hang an old garden gate that was from my dad's childhood home on our wall but it's super heavy and cast iron. My husband wasn't sure he would be able to anchor it properly and didn't want it falling on anyone. So you know what we ended up doing with it? Using it as a gate to our garden! Imagine that:-)

Love that old roll of wallpaper. I have a very similar one that I picked up at an estate sale. Now I just need to figure out what to do with it.

Stay warm!

Hi Deb, My Mr. Wild has been complaining a lot! I should be starting to pack to head north but I'm not leaving until the weather starts to improve in MN. I love your embroidery finds! I wish I could get some of the stuff I keep bringing home placed and made to look pretty. Maybe next year!

What a wonderful bunch of goodies:) I haven't been to any estate sales lately but really want to! I have looked at gates at Hobby Lobby but they are too expensive, but I do love them.

No snow at all here this year but plenty of rain! Hope you get some Springtime weather soon! Have a blessed day sweet Deb, BIG HUGS!

Hi Deb,
So enjoyed catching up. Love this dining room and the color just looks so pretty for spring. The gate on the wall is awesome.
Great finds you gathered too.

So hope your snow melts fast. I know it is getting old. My family in Michigan had snow too and it seems the cold will never end. Weird weather year this season.

Have a nice weekend.
Hugs, CM

Spring is here, I'm sunburned a bit from sitting in the sun so long yesterday. But, right now, a storm is blowing by. I love this mountain home, but rarely see a yard sale! I miss them!
