Lilacs, Tea Party & Button Garland Gift

The rain has stopped and I can finally ENJOY my lilacs. I have 3 different  types bushes to enjoy. I wish they would last all summer!  My little lily of the valley are almost ready to enjoy too!

A couple of weeks ago there was a wonderful Tea Party at my church. The men served us ladies. It was very Fun. There was a fashion show too! This is the table that I sat at and the lady you see set the table was the hostess. There were so Many Pretty Tables. Maybe next year, I'll be a hostess!

Holly from Cutie Pie Cottage sent me this darling ragball & button garland, just because! She makes them!  THANK YOU,HOLLY! It's going to hang in my craftroom!

The long weekend will include Yard WORK, Trader's  Flea Market in Elko and daughter is having a BBQ. I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!

THANK YOU for all the well wishes on our Anniversary and Hubby's new job! Next month is my blog Birthday and I know I'll have a giveaway!
Warmly,
deb

Have a great Memorial Day weekend, Deb! My daughter is having a BBQ tomorrow, too, but if hubby has to work I won't go. They are having quite a few of their friends and I don't want to feel "odd Mom out". : ) If I don't go, I plan on starting a rag quilt ~ a project that I've been wanting to try and I understand that is quite a bit of squares to be cut.

Oh my goodness-you're so welcome and the garland looks so cute shaped into a heart!

I was going to get to see the grands this Memorial day but once again, their trip has been cancelled. boo-hoo.

Do you have a new header? So cute!

I love lilacs!...that & bearded iris I miss since moving to Florida. Lilacs can't make it here I'm told because it doesn't get cold enough to stimulate them to bloom & iris they say rot in the ground. I remember as a little girl how one lilac bush could be smelled all over the neighborhood. Have a great holiday...hugs Patti M :)

Awww. That was sweet of Holly!
I'm jealous that you're heading to Elko! I want to go, but it's not in the budget right now. Have a blast, and find lots of treasures!

I usually go to Traders Market too but this weekend we're going to Buffalo to check the sales out there. Erica says her favorite story is having a sale. Might get to TM on Monday but there's a Studebaker show in Hugo...busy, buys!

I love the idea of the men serving! My mom has a luncheon at her church each year like this, they should try that! The lilacs are so lovely right now, I wish they'd last longer, too...my apple blossoms are falling like snow today!
