Quick Cupboard Makeover, Ready for Company & Finds

I've seen SO many bloggers taking the cabinet doors off in their kitchen. So, I took these off over the refrig and what do you think?!  Before above....
After...maybe more "greens"needed???? At least you can see my fun canister set, it's not old, but sweet! I'm adding a touch of red to my kitchen, thanks to all the pretty kitchens I see in blogland!
The guest room is already for Sharon's visit on Monday!
Finds from last week.I did go out today to a couple estate sales. CUTE pink bench!

Grandgirl has a weekend fastpitch tourney. Started Friday night and will end tomorrow afternoon.

SO, next week I'll be showing Sharon a good time ( I hope!)...have a LIST of things to do. I hope we have enough time and I don't wear her out!

Have a GREAT week and "see you" next weekend!

Warmly,
deb

Love your open cabinet redo! Is that a red print vintage towel I see on top of the frig? Oh, what a sweet pink bench.

Your guest room looks beautiful. Love when my "girlfriend" comes to visit, always so much fun! Have a great week. :) Pam

PS/ Picked up some more Christmas goodies for your box today. It's getting full too!

The retro tins are irresistible! I love them! When I first moved to my new home I asked hubs to take down the cabinet above the frig. "WHAT! NO!" I was shocked. I didn't know he knew the word "no". LOL! Anyway - the red vignette is very cute. I just love RED!

The open cupboards look great! I think I'll tell my mom to do this at her house. Too Cute!
Looks like you found some fun things. Boy there were alot of Estate Sales today! I went to the "pickers paradise" in Minneapolis, and it lived up to it's name!
Have fun with your company!

I want to get brave with our kitchen too. Thanks for the inspiration. My mother just made me a new cherry kitchen valance (it's very Engelbreit inspired) and I found some fruit chalkware to hang above the valance. After church, I'm going to play in the kitchen. Have a fabulous time with your guest. Go on lots of adventures!!

Great idea and it looks great too, Deb! Those over the fridge cupboards usually end up being stupid stuff hiders anyway!

I have a huge empty space above my fridge. I haven't decided what to put up there yet. ♥

I love your new open cabinet. There are so many things you can do with that space. Do you plan on changing it around with the seasons?

I have that exact same quilt as in your guest room:-)

Enjoy your Sunday,

Erica
