Friday's Finds

Hubby and I went to 2 estate sales today. These are my finds! Isn't the Cinderella apron paper pattern awesome! Wood blocks always sell. Found hankies and button cards.

Hubby and I went to the State fair yesterday. We walked for hours. Our treats were: sweet potato fries, shared corn dog and gyro, didn't share chocolate cream puffs and cinnamon almonds. The parade had the Budweiser horses that are beautiful!!! The matching bands were very good too!

I applied for a JOB!!! I KNOW!!! While she would LOVE to have me, she isn't sure that the hours I can work will work for them. It's in God's hands.

Going to be record heat next week! YUCK! Sept is around the corner. Son and BFF birthday is next week. Busy week ahead!

Happy Weekend!!!
Warmly,
deb

No cheese curds!! You went to the fair and did not get fried cheese curds! It's a sin I say! A job, wow, I bet it is some place fun. Can't wait to hear!

Love the button cards and little cup and saucer! Great finds!
Hope your new job works out! You'll have to share what it is!
Heat ahead but it keeps me thinking "summer" so I'll take it!

Love the apron direction sheet. What finds!

Cute! That apron sheet would look cute framed!

I actually thought about getting a job while my boy was away! He's back now though so I'm sure I'll be back to being crazy busy in no time time!

Fairs always sound fun to me but they wear me out. I wonder if I'd enjoy the fair now that my legs are fixed... I think I've subconsciously avoided anything with concrete for years. I *do* love the rodeo though and hope to go in Sept. ♥

Great finds as always! The only time I find good stuff is at Estate Sales, most of the Garage Sales in my area is just a bunch of junk! Have a blessed day dear Deb! HUGS!

Oh I miss going to estate sales! It's not easy taking the path of downsizing and them bringing stuff back home LOL! I love all vintage sewing things and the pattern is great ~ Best wishes with your job, it truly is in Gods' hands! ~ Judi

That apron pattern is great. I love that you can tie it in many ways. I am jealous you saw the Budweiser horses in person. They are magnificent but I've only seem them on tv. Best wishes for the job and hope your week is fun!!

Oh that Cinderella apron! All great finds. What is a state or county fair without the fun "once a year" fair food? Mean really, when else am I going to eat fried oreos? Lol! :) Pam

Great finds Deb! You always find good stuff! Good that you went to the fair yesterday, it's getting kind of warm outside today! We haven't left yet, pushed it ahead a few more days, it will be 100 degrees all the way there...not happy about that!

Hi Deb,
Some wonderful estate sale finds! The State Fair sounds fun but I'm disappointed you didn't have deep fried something!! It seems like they deep fry everything at fairs.
Have a great week.

Sweet little finds! And I love the new blog header. Ugg it's been hotter than heck. We still haven't gone to the fair because it's hard to think about eating in this kind of heat. And that's what it's all about! lol I heard that attendance is way down because of it. That's too bad.
Super curious about the job. I hope it works out for you!

Wonderful finds. The button cards are great and I love the wire egg holder and the tiny molds very much.
I keep my fingers crossed that you get the job.
