Making Christmas Gifts

On Monday I got together with my BFF and we worked on Christmas wreaths. I forgot they take time to make! Plus, I had a bigger size wreath than last year. Anyway, the one above in blue and silver is for my Mom for Christmas. She doesn't read my blog, so I'm safe to show it to you!  I plan on making a couple more, however, I must buy more bulbs! I've been passing them up at estate sales, thinking I had enough, WRONG!

These snowflakes are from the dollar store, last year. I embellished them with some vintage goodies. I'm selling them at the booth at Auntie M's.

I need to make my Christmas cards, or at least, get some ideas for them! Hasn't the month flown by!!! Next Friday is Nov 1st! YIKES!

Tomorrow is my duty day at Auntie M's. I'll be there from 12 noon till close, 5:30. I'm bringing more Christmas goodies!

Booth, Pumpkin Patch & Wedding Venue

I added some Christmas to our booth this week. I'll be adding LOTS more later this month. I'm hoping sales pick up...not doing as well as last year at this time! Hmm...???

Yesterday was the pumpkin patch. Funny little girls! They had FUN. I forgot to take their photo with their huge pumpkins!  Grand girl is on the right. She is into making faces when having her photo taken...hmm!!!

Tonight was the tasting at the REVUE. Above is where they will marry on the golf course. If the weather isn't nice, it will be inside!

We are not having a buffet as shown above. This was for the tasting. I think the crusted chicken will be what we serve for daughter's wedding. It was like a fairy room. Soft little lights and wonderful center pieces on each table.
This is the table we sat at. These are her colors. She wants a deep pink table runner instead of the black and white one. Sorry I didn't take a better photo. It was a nice meal and it will be so pretty on their wedding day! I am so happy! She still hasn't found a florist and JP. Otherwise, almost everything is in place. She is very organized!

Tomorrow I'm working at the Vintage Cottage in Carver from 10-4....come see me!

This, That and the Upcoming Week

I bought these little Kewpie's this summer. Aren't they too cute! I'm not sure what I will do with them.

Don't tell hubby, this is what I bought at the October Afternoon warehouse sale! I went over board! I got caught up in the shopping frenzy! LOL!!! I really need to use up what I already HAVE!

These are the spoolies that I made for my partners. I also put a little something on the backside. I'm thinking SOMEONE should host a Christmas spoolie swap! ANYONE??!!! (not me!)

Tomorrow is a Bridal Fair that I'm going to along with daughter and her maid of honor. Looking forward to all the ideas they will have! Maybe taste tasting of wedding cakes? LOL! A girl can hope!

Monday is working at Vintage Cottage for the sale that starts on Thursday. Tuesday I must get to Auntie M's with some new treasures for the booth!  Wednesday taking grand girl and her friend to the Pumpkin patch and out to lunch. Thursday evening, going to the golf course, aka, venue for daughter's wedding, for the meal tasting. There will be 4 meals to taste and then a decision will be made! ($$$)  Friday is the Vintage Cottage sale. Also on Thursday is Bible Study Fellowship. This year the study is Matthew!

I was hoping to work outside today, but too COLD and windy! Maybe later tomorrow will work.

THANK YOU so much for your kind and sweet comments on my outfit! Not that many went to the reunion, but I enjoyed talking to those that went. Most everyone was so NICE!

So, what is your week looking like?!

Drawer pulls as Mini Shelves & Reunion

When I was at that dealer's home a couple weeks ago, I saw these drawer pulls on her wall and just had to have them! So, I copied her idea!I have a small collections of compacts and put up the heart ones on my bedroom wall!  Fun idea, RIGHT!!!

I put 2 more drawer pulls up in the bathroom. One with a old watch that doesn't work and the other with a heart compact, which is my Favorite one!

SORRY, I have no idea why this came out sideways....LOL!!! This is the outfit I wore last night to the reunion. About  50 showed up.  Almost everyone was nice! It was very casual. "Age" has taken a toll on a few of us, guys and gals! My "old" heartthrob wasn't there  :(

Today my daughter, future SIL and grandgirl went to church with me! After lunch we went over the guest list, now up to 250 people, which needs to be cut to 200 people and the budget. I'm not stressing, yet! LOL!

There is a little chill in the air. Turned on the furnace to take that chill out of the house! Time to get out the hooded sweatshirts!

More treasures & Painting a pumkin

Last Friday I helped at the sale and found a few more goodies! Paper ones! LOVE THEM!!!

and this cute little sled was in the yard! I'm going to paint her and she will look so sweet for Christmas!

I read a tutorial at Jennifer Rizzo's blog about painting a pumpkin. So, here are mine! I never thought I could paint! Thank you, Jennifer! Who KNEW!!!

I found an outfit for the reunion and maybe I'll have hubby take a photo so you can see what I'll be wearing! I went to a store called Maurices and the salesgirls were so helpful! I think I found a new store. The prices weren't too bad either!

Happy weekend!
