Making Christmas Gifts

On Monday I got together with my BFF and we worked on Christmas wreaths. I forgot they take time to make! Plus, I had a bigger size wreath than last year. Anyway, the one above in blue and silver is for my Mom for Christmas. She doesn't read my blog, so I'm safe to show it to you!  I plan on making a couple more, however, I must buy more bulbs! I've been passing them up at estate sales, thinking I had enough, WRONG!

These snowflakes are from the dollar store, last year. I embellished them with some vintage goodies. I'm selling them at the booth at Auntie M's.

I need to make my Christmas cards, or at least, get some ideas for them! Hasn't the month flown by!!! Next Friday is Nov 1st! YIKES!

Tomorrow is my duty day at Auntie M's. I'll be there from 12 noon till close, 5:30. I'm bringing more Christmas goodies!

HAPPY WEEKEND!
Warmly,
deb

Beautiful wreath, Deb! I can only imagine they take a lot of ornaments. I just saw a few boxes at the thrift store the other day. I didn't get them, but it's another option of where to find some if you're looking.

Your wreath is beautiful, love the colors you chose. I try to pick up vintage ornaments when I see them, but I think someone else is always beating me to it. Where does the time go?

Since Hanna & I made our wreaths last year, I have been buying up ornaments whenever I find them reasonably priced enough. It's crazy how many you use! Love the silver and blue wreath. Your mom will too!

Your post (beautiful by the way) reminded me that I need to head to the thrifts and antique mall today for supplies for my giftie projects. Blue is such a lovely color for a wreath...so icy and elegant! =D

Wow Deb! That wreath is gorgeous! Your Mom will love it. I hope you get more traffic in your booth with your beautiful holiday items. Our booth traffic has been painfully slow.

Hi Deb!
The blue and silver wreath is so pretty! I'd like to try a "tone on tone" wreath like that.
I wanted to get to Auntie M's for your dutie day last week, but of course it didn't work out.
I'm thinking it would be fun to have you girls over to my place sometime in December.
We will have to talk about it!
Happy Halloween to you-
Erica :)
