Making Christmas Cards

I've started making my Christmas cards and here are the ones I've finished. I make about 4-6 of each one. Looks like I'm into a Dog Theme this year. I love the vintage images.

Has anyone made Stuffing in a Crock Pot??? I'm looking for a recipe for one as I'm having 10-13 people for Thanksgiving. I wish I had 2 ovens!!! Having a recipe for stuffing will help.

Saturday we are looking for "Bridesmaids" dresses. Daughter wants her "girls" to wear long black dresses. I'll take photos and share them with you! I'm sure enjoying all of this! My 2 weddings were simple! Did I tell you she has 5 bridesmaids!  Anyway.... it's all good!

I'm "thinking" I might put up some Christmas on my mantle this weekend. I'll put up the tree after Thanksgiving. It's coming up quickly! How's your decorating coming along??
Warmly,
deb

Your cards are so pretty, I love the little dogs best of all! I was just thinking of you as I was searching how to make an ornament wreath. I remember you made one last year, I think it was? I might just give it a try this year!

I did my stuffing one year in the electric frying pan as the power was out. My husband plugged it from the generator. It was what I was suppose to make to take to dinner. I had the same idea that I wanted to find the box with the mantel decorations. Your cards are so pretty. What a lot of work. Good idea though.

Your cards are so cute. I know you said crockpot but Rachel Rays Stuffin Muffins were great when I had to make for a big family dinner. Easy to make ahead and keep warm under foil until your ready for them. Sooo good.

I haven't really done any decorating yet but I'm starting to get in the mood. Hope you find a good recipe. Crock pots are life savers! Enjoy your week!

Hi Deb, love your cards and the vintage graphics. Hope you find the recipe you need.
Yes, I have finished my decorating and it feels so good to be done. I usually wait till the day after Thanksgiving, but started early this season and Black Friday will be spent relaxing instead.
Have a wonderful Thanksgiving and fun shopping for the dresses.
Hugs

I had to check out your Christmas cards, very nice! I'm cooking for Thanksgiving too. I think I'll make my turkey in the Nesco the day before, I'll cheat and buy pies. Time will tell how things go.....

Your cards are so pretty Deb! Some people just have a way with paper, and you are one of them...I am not!
Today I did my outdoor winter arrangements. So that's my first official step in decorating I guess. I would have to imagine that Pinterest would have a ton of crock pot stuffing recipes for you!

Your cards are wonderful. I might try and do a few for special people! I haven't tried stuffing in a crock pot, but would love the recipe for Christmas. We are going to my mother's for Thanksgiving but I'm holding the Christmas Dinner this year.

Your cards are so cute! I need to start making mine instead of always buying them. I know what you mean about needing two ovens for Thanksgiving! Me too! I've thought about getting one of those counter top roasters that's big enough to hold a turkey.... but so far haven't. All the wedding prep must be sooo exciting!

Miss Deb,
I just put it together like I was putting it in the bird and then put it in a greased crock pot for 4-5 hours on low, comes out pretty good...there is always a little that sticks. But I have had no complaints...:)

I still need to tweak some of my cards as I didn't have all my supplies along when I went to retreat. You are way ahead of me!

No decorating here yet but I have been thinking about it:) Yesterday I sorted all of the gifts I have bought so that I can see what I still need! I LOVE your cards and the vintage images are precious! My Daughter and granddaughter were in a wedding several years ago, their dresses were long black with a white sash... SO PRETTY! Enjoy your day dear friend, BIG HUGS!

Your cards are so pretty and cute! I plan on giving that a try this year. Sandy's crock pot recipe sounds like m sisters, but says to make it extra moist if using crock pot. Sounds like exciting wedding ideas are in place!

Hi Deb, Your handmade cards are so pretty!
There is a great recipe for dressing (stuffing) at this web site
http://www.deepsouthdish.com/2012/12/easy-slow-cooker-chicken-and-dressing.html

Mary is my go-to for most of my recipes but then, she is a Southern cook which I love! :-)

Have fun planning the wedding!

I like the girl card best!

Crock pot stuffing sounds good. I'll have to explore that option.

Have fun? dress shopping. I've only dress shopped with another woman once in my whole life!

Since I'm doing so much Christmas crafting, it FEELS like I'm decorating already. I keep debating on what to do. I have a boys birthday on Monday and Thanksgiving on Thursday so I'm not sure if I should try to fit any decorating in until after! ♥

It wouldn't be Thanksgiving without home made stuffing. I've never made it in a crock pot, though. Love your cards. I haven't did anything to get ready for Christmas yet.

Your Christmas cards are so pretty. I can't believe Thanksgiving is next week. This month has flown by. I'm hosting a small gathering at our house. I'm hoping I can pull it off. I can count on two fingers the number of times I've hosted Thanksgiving in my 22 years of marriage.
