De-cluttering the Family Room & Flowers

I picked these little flowers a couple weeks ago and don't they look so sweet in the blue pitcher on the mantle :)

Mr Gnome lives in this planter just outside the breezeway. He has lived there for a couple of years and seems very happy :)

CONFESSION: This is the family room in the walk-out level of our home. This photo was taken AFTER I put away a FEW bins...it's been a MESS far TOO LONG! Just ask hubby! I'm embarrassed to even show you this...

This is the AFTER which I finished "de-cluttering" today! It's like a new room!

Another view. We price our re-sell items here and the table had been loaded with "stuff" FAR TOO LONG!

MUCH BETTER! I had to get it together before the bridal shower, just in case the shower needs to be in the family room.

I've also started working out! It's been a long time since I've worked out! DISCIPLINE...

Tomorrow is haircut and we are then visiting Mark, who has the cancer. Saturday is my Mom's birthday, taking her and my Auntie out for dinner. Grandgirl has fast pitch tourneys that we'll watch if they don't get rained out. A fun and fast weekend!

Thank you for your prayers for Mark. I know that God hears and answers :)

warmly,
deb

Sounds like you have a jam packed weekend. Enjoy it, dear friend!

Praying for Mark. You got a LOT done there, Deb. It looks wonderful. I have an area like that in our basement that seems to be the catch-all for everything. Wanna come over and help? lol xo Diana

My Craftroom is such a huge mess! Maybe if I take before pictures, I'll clean it up! This was a fun post. Blessings to Mark.

I have a couple of areas like the "before" pictures. You inspire me, but too busy the next two weeks.
My prayers go out for Mark.
Blessings,
Deb

I am glad to see others have messes too. My basement looks like a hoarders paradise....crafting stuff and rummage items... but I have to prioritize and use my energy on first things first. Right now that is planting and keeping the house liveable, no time for 'extras'. Prayers for Mark, prayer is wonderful!!!

Hi Deb, You sure got a lot accomplished. I have to declutter my store room of found treasures every few months. It gets so over run and messy. Glad I'm not the only one who has to do this.
Have a nice visit with Mark. Prayers continue!
Happy Friday!
XO

My goodness...it doesn't even look like the same room! So then there is hope for me and my cluttered house? I just want to know how did you do it and what did you do with all the stuff :)!!! I wish I was that good!
Blessings to Mark.

You are one busy gal. I keep thinking about all the closets and our overflowing toy basement that needs a good sorting out. It's so much work. I'd much rather craft. Have fun with your very full weekend! We'll be celebrating Josie's birthday! Party on!!
