Friday Fun Day Finds & Chipping with Charm

Last Friday, hubby and I went antiquing. We went to the antique shop in Elk River...and that is where, Laurel from Chipping with Charm sells her treasures and she was there!!! She is a sweet heart!!!

I bought the red and green stemware. I need to find 2 more of the red. My colors to go with my plates. The figurines are from an estate sale.

More goodies from the estate sale. It was a 3 day sale and we went on the 1st and 3rd day. Last day was 1/2 off.  The lantern on the left was bought in Elk River. It's very heavy. I'm also having a lantern theme going on! LOL!!!

Guess what my colors are...right I already told you. Here is the beginning of the bulbs and such...
I bought this darling little tennis shoe when Sharon was here...it's too cute!!!

Tomorrow is my duty day at Mainstreet in Hopkins. 10-2 if anyone is in the area!

Going to meet up with more blogging friends on Friday! I sure enjoy having Fun time on Fridays!

I'll be cooking Thanksgiving lunch. Bought the turkey at Trader Joe's. Fresh and natural! I'm trying to eat "real" food without all the added fillers, hormones, etc....What are your plans...are you cooking the turkey?!
warmly,
deb

It's always a good day to go antiquing and thrifting! Went to a few shops over Halloween weekend in Bullhead and Oatman AZ. Then to a few in Boulder City. They have a great shop called Goat Feathers that I know my bloggy friends would love. It's done up as a country store with vintage products along the walls overhead. Love to go there!

We are hosting International Students from the local university for Thanksgiving. Not sure what we will fix, but it won't be a turkey. Probably Pork roast and a Brisket. this is our second year hosting, and it has been a very interesting time. 90% of all International students never enter an American home during their time in school. Sad but true.

Love all of the red! Sweet little shoe decor! We gather with Family for Thanksgiving and everyone brings food! Our family is too big for anyone's house, so we have it at the Fellowship Hall at Church! Enjoy your day dear friend, HUGS!

Deb! You made a haul my friend! Love those red and green glasses. I have a complete set of the green, little different style. They were my Mom's Holidays glasses. I bought red ones to match...yours and mine are called Boopie Glass...I think it was from Libby.....
Love that little tennis shoe....I so need to come and go thrifting and antiquing again!

I haven't been to Elk River in years!! I used to live in Ramsey when the kids were very young and we would drive over there to visit the shops.

What fun! I love the red & green glasses. I have green but no red (sad face) maybe someday I'll find some of them. The shoe is adorable and I love love it! I'm cooking a small turkey for Mom, me and my friend Carter. The kids will be in So Ga for turkey day.

I'm liking your lantern thing!! The sneaker is a great addition. Our Thanksgiving will be low key. Just my husband and me with the full meal deal. I would prefer going out but he wants all the leftovers and he is the main cook so I can't complain! Have a fun Friday!!
