Update on Sisters Cancer

SORRY, I WAS ASKED TO REMOVE THE PHOTO PER MY SISTER.....

I talked with her this week and her chemo, pill form, will start on Thursday for 6 weeks. Then it is 6 weeks of radiation, I think!! I hope doing the chemo pill will be "easier" on her.  She is very positive. She is also keeping somethings to herself and won't share them. Please pray that her side effects are ZERO and that I can be of support to her and the family. She lives about a hour from me.

THANK YOU!!!

I have a duty day at Mainstreet Antiques this Saturday from 10-2 if anyone is in the area shopping! I've been a tad under the weather the last few days. Finally better today and now I need to do my Christmas cards and wrap a few gifts.  Grandgirl is coming over on Monday and we are decorating a gingerbread house. I wasn't sure that she still wanted to do this with me! Makes me happy!

Merry Christmas!

I hope she does well on the meds. They all have some side effects tho...but many mild and you get used to it. Radiation will tire her. I am sure that being so close, you will be able to help if she needs it. She probably won't tell you she needs it....I know! Have a Merry Christmas....each day is a GIFT!

Saying some BIG prayers for your dear sister. Oh- to be able to pray a person well....on the spot. But, we will take well any way we can get it--by a miracle or the miracle of medicine.

Hope your day at the Antique store goes okay- xo Diana

I don't know anything about the chemo pills, I pray all goes well for her. I think every drug we take has a side effect(s). I feel like you're dammed if ya do and dammed if ya don't. I don't want to upset you....but that's the way it is. I hope hers are nothing serious.....lost hair or fingernails come back. Will pray for her too. A lot of times we don't share everything b/c we don't want to worry our loved ones, especially if it is not definite, only a possibility. Hope your day just got better and better!

Hugs and prayers for your sister. I did chemo in the pill form and it was much better, less side effects, although there were some.

Hope you feel better soon.

Dear Deb, prayers for your sister and the meds to be less harsh. We have a friend who took them and did well and side effects were not as bad. I know each is different but that is hopeful. What a beautiful card with your sister and family.
Have fun creating the gingerbread house with your grand girl. I would love to make one as that is one of the things I've never tried.
Hope you have a great duty day and feeling better.
Thoughts and prayers.
Hugs
