I was blessed to receive a couple of packages and the one above is from Linda. She made the tin can candle, and knows that I make paper things. THANK YOU!

These gifts are from Debbie Kay. One of these days we will meet in person. She lives in CA.She is making card and made the NOEL one! She knows that I love puppies. Fun mugs, linens, ckbk and just enough chocolate! THANK YOU, Debbie!

and these are from Sharon who has come to visit me! THANK YOU! She also sent some Fudge and I ate it right away and it was SO GOOD!  She doesn't blog anymore so I won't link her up.

I had a great Christmas and hope that you all did too! My Christmas decor is still up. Expecting a snow storm later today....and staying home on New Years Eve so that is when I'll take down my Christmas decor. I love having the tree lights on in the evenings.

See you next Year!

Reflections & Grandgril

I LOVE how the Christmas tree lights reflected in the bow window.

Grandgirl's school sang at the MOA this week. I had a hard time getting any photo of her :)  It was so sweet.

I am deeply disappointed at the "Christmas" decorations at the Mall of America. It is so minimal, plain and not Christmas. Just trees in white and silver. Nothing hanging from the ceilings as they have always had, no ornies on the trees...This "holiday"is CHRISTMAS!! Oh well, I don't shop there anyway....

I am almost ready to celebrate the Birth of Jesus. I need to check my"list" this weekend, finish writing in the cards & mail them and wrap the presents. We may not have snow for Christmas, but we have the cold. I hope you are almost ready too for the celebration of Jesus' Birth.

Fun Christmas Mail

I am way behind in posting some fun mail. There are so many wonderful blogging friends! Above is a Christmas Pocket Letter that Linda made for me. She knows my favorite word is JOY and sweetly included it in the PL. It is way prettier in real life. Love the red, white & green. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!

This sweet pocket card was made by Stephanie! She is a sweetie! THANK YOU SO MUCH!

I met Jocelyn,a couple of years ago and she sent me this Santa teacup & book! Very special and a great addition to my collection! I will enjoy having tea in this awesome teacup. THANK YOU SO MUCH!

Oops, sideways, this Christmas Pocket letter is from Oliva. We have crafted together once this year and will get together more often next year. She is so good at paper crafts/cards! It is so soft and pretty! THANK YOU SO MUCH!

I am so Thankful for all the Kindness and sweet friends that I have from blogging! Your friendship is a Christmas gift in itself!

Christmas Luncheon

This was made my a member of the luncheon team. She is a very creative woman. This was in the dining area.

There were 14 tables for this event. I didn't take photos of every table, sorry! I got busy and then the program started.
This was a fun favor, a shoe horn from Ikea!

A couple more tables and the one above is the one I set. I cheated and used paper plates! Bad hostess! I had a table of 10 ladies.

This one is way prettier than shown in the photo.

YUMMY cupcakes...red velvet on the left, white on the top, gingerbread on the right and totally homemade...and chocolate peppermint! VERY GOOD! We cut the cupcakes in half to share at the table. We also served quiche, salad, warm buns, wassail, and coffee.  I also forgot to take a photo of the Candy Bar which is a huge hit with all ages!!!

We ate, sang a few Christmas carols, played a game at the table, dessert and the reading from a story book about Three Trees, related to the Christ story.  I forgot the title...sorry.  I'm hoping someone was blessed today.

Tomorrow is my work day at Mainstreet.  I'll go after church and then I'm done until 2016!  Grandgirl school is singing at the MOA this week and I plan on going to hear her!

I hope you are able to go to a Christmas event.

Craft Day with Erica & Tammy

Copied the scrabble letter from blog land and they are gifts for my sister's and Mom

Tammy made the most, all the above except the wreath. LOVE the recipe box! Awesome colors!

Erica made the wreath, very pretty! She also altered a kids book, but didn't get a photo of that.

I made the above. It was a very fun day of crafting!

The snow is melted and it's been very nice for December!

This Saturday is the Christmas Luncheon at my church. I will show you my table. I may use paper plates.... (don't tell). I'm on the committee and will be busy getting it all set up and helping with the food.. We are having the candy bar like last year.

I love it when we sing the "classic" Christmas songs at church.

Recent Finds & Happy Mail

I went to Haupt Market last Thursday and found just a few things. Her occasional shop was decorated so awesome for the Christmas sale!!! The next sale is on small business Saturday and then another one in December.

Hubby and I went to a 2nd day sale and I found the cuteness above and the sweetness below. I love the vintage cards. These items will be going to the booths.

We, hubby & I are still going to less sales to reduce our inventory.

I also received a package from Debbie, at My Vintage Daydreams. She knows my love of themed kitchen towels and that I enjoy making cards and crafts. THANK YOU, Debbie!  You are a sweetie!

My daughter is making the turkey for Thanksgiving. I will make the rest of the meal. I think this is her first time making the turkey. She told me that my turkeys  are "dry"...oh man after all these years...someone finally told me!!
