Valentine Swap & Sister Update

Viv had a Valentine Swap and my partner was Pam from Virginia Retro. We enjoy collecting linens and have dogs...and have swap before. I just love getting a package filled with treasures. We were to make a Valentine card and "ornie" and the photo above is what Pam made for me. Very sweet and she also sent vintage Valentines.

She also sent all the above!!! Many bits and bobs to use for crafts, lace, seam binding, buttons, altered clothes pin...and more. Also a little candy treat, which I haven't even opened! THANK YOU, Pam! It was great to swap with you!! She also sent the puppies a treat, which They Have eaten!!

This is my baby sister who finished her chemo and radiation this week! Now, her body gets to rest before her surgery in March! She and her hubby are taking a vacation in Feb. THANK YOU SO MUCH for all your PRAYERS!!  I truly believe that her side affects where limited by prayer!

Okay, so I have been a "good girl" with my not eating treats, candy, chocolate, sweets, donuts, desserts, etc...for the entire month of January and 4 lbs have left my body!! LOL!!! Slow and steady! I hope it will be another 4 lbs in Feb! (oops, I did have a little of the pudding that Tammy made when she was over to craft and I will post about that next)

Tomorrow is February... we are going to a friends home to watch a little of the game. I am not a football fan, just love the commercials. Won't stay for the entire game, as I love to watch Downton Abbey!!! We all have our priorities! LOL!!!

Blessings to your sister, Deb. I just got caught up on Downton Abbey with my IPAD. We do not have cable, so I'm glad I found a PBS channel with all the episodes on it. I don't eat sugar either. I sometimes cheat. I still am not thin - but hey - I have nice blogging friends!

Well, I'll be watching the Superbowl, but PBS repeats the Downton episode 3x before next Sunday. :)
