Recent Finds

This little guy was a recent find on the milkweed that we are "growing" in the yard! I'll have to start looking for the cocoon :)

This is a vintage church "offering" bowl. It has a long handle to reach across the pew to gather the offering! It goes well with my church board!

Haven't bought buttons for awhile. I' trying my "hand" at games...

and some chintz for my collection! They had a tea pot, but it was chipped. I adore the square plates!

I met up with a couple of bloggers, Linda and Faye on Friday and we went treasure hunting. None of us took any photos...too busy talking! It was a pretty humid day, but that didn't stop us!

Another busy week, just like everyone else! So thankful the humidity went down. It was a perfect summer day! We went to the flea market early morning.

I forgot what I need to do to change my photo on my blog...can anyone help me out?! Must be a "age" thing! LOL!!

Keep Enjoying the summer!!
Keep cool,
deb

It was so fun getting together! To change your photo, click on the section under your current photo on your blog, that says " View My Complete Profile". That will take you to your profile and there will be a link at the top right of the page that says "Edit Profile". That will take you to a page where you can edit. Hope this helps!

I am horrible at changing photos but Diane at Lavender Dreams knows all about it. :)
Love your pretty finds from the sale. I hate when you find something but it is chipped. Bad thing is sometimes I don't notice until I already bought them ;(

I remember the long offering dish at church when I was a kid. Seems everyone passes the basket now, what a fun memory. I know your blogging friends had a fun day with you. did you take them to that great diner where we had lunch?

Hi Deb, It was fun getting together, in spite of the heat and humidity! Hope to do it again when the weather is a bit cooler. I see Linda helped you out, I would have to think on it for a while, I haven't made any changes to my blog in ages.
Have fun shopping at flea markets!
