Pumpkins: Grandgirl, cards & art

Grandgirl came over this week and we crafted...theme: Pumpkins...we used themed napkins, mini canvas and decoupage and had some fun. I love her handwriting...and Sweet Pea "helped" too!

These are the ones I made and then yesterday I made the cards below...getting in the mood for fall...

Huge sunflower from the farmer's market that I went to this morning!! I also picked up mini cukes. They are so good and I don't get heartburn eating them!

Thank you for your kind comments about my foot...and helpful suggestions. I'm praying that it will feel better soon.  I bought slippers today with an arch support in them...who knew!

Hubby and I went to Happy Hour yesterday and enjoyed eating outside! Love that!

Happy weekend.

Great pumpkin fun with your cutie granddaughter. Sorry about your hip and foot. Now that big cast is going to make you walk funny. If you can find a show that equals out the difference it would be best. I have had the shots in the hips. My problem came from my lower back. But those shots helped so much. I had the other issue as well. It went away and hope it never returns.
Hope you are having a wonderful summer.

Hi Deb, what adorable cards and tags made with your grandgirl. She is very talented like you.
I am gearing up for fall creations too and adding them to my shop. Sure hope your foot is feeling better. What a nice treat to eat outside and love that sunflower.
Have a blessed Sunday. Hugs, cm

Fun times with g'girl. And it sure feels like punkin weather here in MN today! I love it though. We just spent a couple days at the lake with a couple of our g'kids. Always fun.

I bought Haflinger slippers - they are great. At least enough support for my lumpy feet! I also have a ortho insert...but I think the ones you can buy and add to your shoes would work now for me anyway. So much cheaper...I got my feet issues when working at 3M on a huge school supply event in a warehouse for weeks on end before school...after working the rest of the year in the office. Oh well - it was for a good cause.

Take care,

I just am having trouble thinking about fall since temps are still hovering around 105-110. However, the season will be here sooner than I realize, so I better get my head in the game. Your cards are so sweet! That sunflower is beautiful as is your sweet granddaughter! Blessings, Cindy

How fun that you have a granddaughter to craft with! Crafting is a great way to spend quality time together. It's memories to last a lifetime. I used to sit at my Grandmother's kitchen table crafting and drinking tea. Good Memories!
