Quilt made for me by Sister

My baby sister made this for my 60th birthday...it is so beautiful! The colors are much prettier in real life...THANK YOU BABY SISTER!!!  She made is this summer. She is still having chemo! What a trouper she is!

Here it is on my new bedspread. While the other one was nice, this one is "prettier". The wrinkles will come out after awhile :)  It is tone on tone gray. I think a couple more shams in pink or a darker gray might be needed!

Garage sales done for the year. Made a couple trips to the thrift store and just need to put away a few things and then I can park in the garage, again! LOL!!!

We have wild coyotes coming in the neighborhood when the sun goes down. I've heard them howling and it is a little unsettling... We check the yard at night before we let our puppies outside and have a yard stick in our hand. There are a few "missing" dogs....signs on electric poles.

Enjoy these days...
warmly,
deb

Deb, Your sister did an awesome job on the quilt. How very special you must feel. I thought of your sister this morning and wondered how she was doing. How she is doing well in her chemo...I know it can be a tough time. Blessings to her and you, xoxo,Susie

Love the quilt, one of my favorite color combinations...pink and grey! Watch out for your babies when you let them outside, those darn coyotes are really quick and can jump fences too!

Hi Deb, I love the gorgeous quilt your sister made for you. The color combo is beautiful and goes so well with your pretty new bedspread. Love it all.
We are having lots of coyotes and bobcats right now too. Our neighbor is missing two cats for a couple weeks now. It is very unsettling.
Prayers for your sister as she continues on her chemo.
Hugs, cm

Wow, what a beautiful quilt, and so well done. She chose perfect colors for your new bedroom redo. Looks lovely.

I would be worried about those coyotes, we've had some here also. Watching your puppies carefully is a wise idea.

What a beautiful quilt! My neighbor and I were walking tonight and we heard coyotes up on the hill. It was dark and we decided it was time to go in :o)

Love the quilt!! What a sweet sister you have :)
That's creepy about the missing dogs!! We have all sorts of animals around here. The latest are screech owls that are super loud and messy eaters...gross!

Deb,
What an amazing quilt! Goes so perfect with your bedroom, and yes I agree a pop of the pink or rose at the head of the bed would complete the look....
Be carefull with the coyotes...they can snatch a dog you pups size in no time...and there are always more waiting in the wings....if you have lights back there use them...they hate light!
A neighbor down the road lost his while getting his mail...he caught the coyote but the damage was too bad and they had to put the little guy to sleep....
I just finished making 6 pages for a Halloween Mini Album swap....first time ever making them and I have to say they came out alright...:) Now to par down on the Halloween stuff....just don't need all of it...:)

Have a good week! Call me! :)
