Mini Road Trip & Recent Finds

Last Sunday hubby and I went to the Largest Candy Store....and bought a few goodies for Christmas stockings and the BEST Carmel Apple pies!! YUM and beyond!!! The store closes for the season November.

Here are my latest finds..a little Christmas and some vintage stickers...

Aren't the stickers just too cute!

Also these few goodies. As I have mentioned, we are "reducing" the inventory at home and buying less.

Living room is painted and need to take some photos when the sun comes out.The new roof looks great!

Tonight is the singing for the "seniors"... I missed last week as I smashed my right thumb the day of that concert...OUCH!! Thankful that my thumb nail won't be falling off.

Don't eat too much "trick or treat" candy!
warmly,
deb

We went by that candy store when we took our granddaughter to a nearby apple orchard. We didn't have time to stop, however. Probably best.;)

OWIE !!! Sorry about your thumb, Gee Gaw !! That had to hurt !!!! So good hearing from you sweet friend :) Hugs all around :) PS, I need to do a post on my fireplace mantle. I finally came up with the solution we had talked about before with the hankies. I gave up on finding the Right letters to Merry Christmas and came up with something different :) Love and Hugs :) :) :)

Happy November!! Looks like a great candy store and I'm glad your thumb injury wasn't worse. I've been behind on blog reading with our Halloween party preparations.

It's a good thing that candy store isn't anywhere near me! I've been eating chocolate candy bars nonstop since we only had 10 trick or treaters last night.

For some reason your comments don't go to my email, so I apologize if I haven't responded to any previous comments. As for my kitchen table, we bought a kit and topped it with IKEA wood countertop. Here's the link for the table kit:

http://www.tablelegs.com/

It wasn't cheap, but we were able to choose all the dimensions to fit in our small kitchen and it doubles as extra work space.

Mu goodness, that candy store is amazing! We had no trick and treaters show up, so I ate way too much candy, lol. Sweet finds, I'm also trying to downsize and not buy, but I still by a little here and there. Happy November! Look forward to seeing your room.
