Recent Finds & Happy Mail

I went to Haupt Market last Thursday and found just a few things. Her occasional shop was decorated so awesome for the Christmas sale!!! The next sale is on small business Saturday and then another one in December.

Hubby and I went to a 2nd day sale and I found the cuteness above and the sweetness below. I love the vintage cards. These items will be going to the booths.

We, hubby & I are still going to less sales to reduce our inventory.

I also received a package from Debbie, at My Vintage Daydreams. She knows my love of themed kitchen towels and that I enjoy making cards and crafts. THANK YOU, Debbie!  You are a sweetie!

My daughter is making the turkey for Thanksgiving. I will make the rest of the meal. I think this is her first time making the turkey. She told me that my turkeys  are "dry"...oh man after all these years...someone finally told me!!

warmly,
deb

The light switch plate is adorable!! Sounds like a fun market to visit.

Just wait until your daughter calls you in a panic when Google doesn't have the answer. hehe Our girls know for a fact that I overcook all meat. Fear of food poisoning, I guess.

Happy Thanksgiving!

One of my grandmothers sent those Around the World girl cards for birthdays when I was a child. Wish I still had them!
Happy Thanksgiving Day! I'm sure the turkey will be wonderful, and everything else too! I like my turkey kind of dry but I like it especially on a sandwich the next day.

I bet your daughter knew if she complained about your turkey she's be stuck making one...that's why it took so long. I'd be glad to have someone else cook! In fact we are going to my step-daughter's bar/restaurant. Her hubby and his mom own the place. It'll be nice...but I will miss leftovers. I did pick up a turkey today and will make it sometime this winter. love all of your finds!

Happy Thanksgiving Deb! OMG-that is too funny about your daughter. I am going to tell you my secret to a moist-turkey. I "brine" mine in apple juice. It makes the turkey so flavorful and juicy. Enjoy your day with family. Love your pretty finds.
Bear Hugs,
Carol
