Few Weekend Finds

I bought the puppies a toy this weekend from an estate sale, see above, and within MINUTES it was shredded into fuzzy pieces...she always takes the toys away from him.  (Mean girl)

Also picked up these goodies. I think the elf garland is homemade! I found a few more treasures that I'm keeping and will show you soon!!! (hint ~ new wheels and things for outside!)

Tomorrow I'm going to paint my bedroom. I patched up the nail holes and taped around the windows and door frame. My knees are already sore...

Snow is all gone, again :)   Good shows are back on "public TV" tonight. Midwives and Mr Selfridge..so I'm off to watch TV while ironing.  Happy Easter week!

Easter Mail & Crafting

I received a sweet Easter package last week from Debbie Kay, My Vintage Dreams...she sent goodies in the picture above and below.  Sweet vintage treasures and new ones. I sure do love kitchen towels and napkins!!  :)

When my kids were young, I read them the book "Home for a Bunny".. it's one of my favorite children's books. It was an "easy" read and darling pictures. I was so surprised that Debbie sent it to me. THANK YOU, Debbie! Also Love, " HE IS RISEN"... that is the meaning of Easter...

Tammy came over and we altered these birdhouses. She made the pretty one on the left and I made the one on the right along with the altered block. We had a nice time creating!

We went to an estate sale on Thursday that was a "crafter sale". I bought some scrapbook papers, stickers and a blond wood computer table to use in my craft room. I've been re-arranging my craft room this weekend. I need to let some "things" go...not sure that will happen!

Still waiting on Spring. We are now in a drought in Minnesota...so rain would be good.

Today's Finds, Golfers & More

On Tuesday I went along with a friend to visit our friend who turned the big "60"!!!  She is the one in the middle of the photo. She lives in a nursing home. I hope she enjoyed our visit. Her speech is a whisper at most...she can't feed herself anymore, however she gave us big smiles :)

View out my front door yesterday and today! I was surprised that the golf course is already open, and we have already had a golf ball in our front yard!!! "FORE"!!

My few and small finds from today. The ads sounded w-a-y better than what was at the 3 sales!! Ugh!!
I also saw my first garage sale sign, but didn't stop...

Tomorrow is grandgirl's 12th birthday! Taco dinner at their home! She stopped by on her bike the other day to see the "puppies" (not grandma) and she is taller than me!!! Of course I'm only 5' 3"....but I have "puffy" hair and seem Much TALLER! LOL!!!

It might get to 70 tomorrow!! Very happy with our weather! Puppies have gone on a walk the last few days. Life is GOOD and filled with BLESSINGS!

Easter Mantle and Cards

I'm trying to get into the " Easter/Spring" mood. So, I put up some of my Easter/Spring decor on the mantle this week. I went super light and easy. Most of my vintage Easter didn't get put up. It is still in the boxes....anyway...My Mom made this bunny YEARS ago in a ceramic class..I LOVE IT!  I think she should have kept it, but she gave it and I love it!

Here it is all easy and light. I don't know how fond of it I am, but that is how it's going to look this year. The wreath was at Michael's and it was CHEAP as it was from Valentine's day...

I also made some cards this week. I have no idea why the photo is sideways...I didn't take it sideways..LOL!

Went to 1 estate sale on Friday and it wasn't that good...sad face...oh well!!!

The weather is going to be "nice" this coming week! I sure hope so! I hope all the snow melts. That would lift my spirits!

Had a church Tea Party meeting today. Tastes some very delicious desserts, tough job, right! It will be in May, so it's time to get the party going!

That is about all that is going on around here...
