Living Room Re-arranging & New TV stand

We totally use our Living room!!! The TV is in this room. I Hubby huge recliner is in this room, It is very hard to "decorate" and move furniture around into a cozy sitting area. I also have my laptop in this room. It sits on a metal TV tray.

This corner is were the TV is. I've been looking for a real TV stand and found one last week at an estate sale.

Much better. I am going to put different knobs on it.

I haven't decided what I want on the mantle. I just laid the faux peonies on top for now.

There is hubby's huge recliner.

Thank you so much for all the kind Birthday greetings and wishes.

Happy treasure hunting this weekend.
warmly,
deb

I've never understood why people don't use every room in their home. Love that you do. My favorite chair is a leather recliner and I know it's not fashionable but it is so comfortable and I've reached that point in my life where comfort is more important than looks

Glad you had a wonderful birthday.

My husband loves his recliner too! I love your big picture window! And, of course your mantle and mirror!

My husband had always had a recliner as well. Men, TVs & remote, and recliners go together! Now I have my settee and couch, both very "female" in style. I do miss him in his recliner though.

It's always nice to find that piece you have been looking for! I don't have a huge recliner but a large black leather chair and ottoman that I just love. They may take up space but they are comfy! And really, at night when the lights go down at the end of a busy day, what is more important than spending time together in comfort! Blessings, Cindy xo

rearranging dilemas! lol! My living room is very difficult to change around. doors and or windows or the fireplace on every wall! maybe thats why I change up my decorating so often.. cause I cant move my furniture! same for my bedroom. giant waterbed that I cant move. oh well.. its home sweet home. I too have a corner entertainment center!

Hi and thanks for coming to see me at my blog! I do hope your bluebirds return to your yard! They are so beautiful, aren't they? I really think your living room is so cozy and comfy looking. I could probably furnish my house with garage sale finds or vintage/old things. And your corner TV stand is identical to one we used to have when we had a cabin in VA...loved how it fit! Enjoy the rest of your week :)

Oh Deb,
It is so difficult to arrange furniture when you have to go around recliners and TV, etc. I have a long, narrow, living room, so part of it seems to be forgotten.
