"My" Bluebirds are BACK

For some reason,  Mr. Bluebird thought there was another male bluebird on the bow window. He kept flying into the window. I  put up some paper doilies on the outside of the window and that seems to have solved the problem. He thought he was seeing another bird, not himself, in the reflection from the window.  Hoping for bluebirds babies.

The weather is Perfect! Back soon.
warmly,
deb

I am so glad they are back for you. I love their screeching when they are going to swoop down on some sunflowers seeds or peanuts!
All the best to you,
Maryanne

Hi Deb! I think blue birds are just gorgeous! I don't think we have them in this part of the country. I have never seen them anyway!

Have a great week!

Gosh they are the sweetest little birds arent they? My girlfriend actually raises meal worms.. (seriously) just to feed the ones that live in her yard in the summer. LOL! I hate any kind of worms. but I think its sweet that she does that!
have a great week my friend

Such pretty birds! One of my friends was just telling me that she has had a bird keep flying at her window when the drapes are open and she is worried he will kill himself. Maybe it is the same idea that the bird sees himself!

We have had birds do that too...they would fly right into the front pitcher window. I'm sure they thought their reflection was another bird.

So pretty! We saw one on Easter in the backyard. Poor guy couldn't fit in our bird house.

We had a bird knock himself out flying into our window. After a minute he got up and flew away. Good idea using doilies. So cute, hope he or she hangs around!

He is just so gorgeous! Glad he didn't hurt himself! Wish we had some beautiful birds like that in AZ, but I did get to enjoy a few quail in my yard yesterday - :) Have a blessed week! Blessings, Cindy xo
